Which NFL teams do you like and dislike?

Steelers, Patriots, Cowboys, 49ers, Broncos (in that order) I really, really dislike and the first two I outright hate.

On the "like" side there's only Ravens. I appreciate Saints and Bears though.

Like:

Jacksonville Jaguars - LOVE Khan's mustache, and they're playing lots of games over here

Buffalo Bills - Just feel so sorry for them.

Oakland Raiders - Probably the most popular franchise in the UK. Awesome uniforms. NFL is better when they are strong.

Philadelphia Eagles - Since I've started seriously watching football, they've been one of the most entertaining teams to watch

New Orleans Saints - Had to have a soft spot for them after Katrina

Dislike:

Pittsburgh Steelers - All my in laws are Steelers fans

New York Giants - ALWAYS on TV, and I have an irrational hatred of Eli Manning

New England Patriots - Cheaters

San Francisco 49ers - Bitter fans after we beat them in the Superbowl

Dallas Cowboys - Way too much coverage for a mediocre team who haven't been relevant since the 90s

Dislike:

Steelers: (No need to explain)

Cameramen: (Cant stand Brady and his whining)

Colts: (Love Luck but their fans overrate him too much and they have this holier than thou mentality).

Niners: (They whine too much)

Falcons: (Their fans have an inferiority complex because Flacco won a ring before Ryan)

Broncos: (see week 1)

The Browns are really hard to hate because they're never a threat.  They're too inept to hate.

I like that answer!

This is an interesting question.  I seem to form opinions on teams not necessarilly by their players, but by their ownership / coaching / and most of all their fans.  Some cities just have the biggest jerks in the stands, and bandwagon satelite fans who just wear the attire, THOSE are teams that deserve the gutter.

For instance;  how can you HATE the Yankees (players) they're the best money can buy - .... as for the majority of the fans, they're clingers. (I AM NOT A YANKEE FAN!)  ...................... just a baseball analogy

Jacksonville us the true underdog of the NFL so I always root for them to have a good season and have them actually accomplish something. I cant really hate too much on the Patriots either. There just a good organization. Screw Tom Brady though. Now the Steelers there's a love/hate situation. Ravens football would never be the same without them. I hate them but I love to hate them because there have the reason I watch Ravens games, is to have a better record than those butt holes. I have an irration hatred for Philly though if I could think of any. Cant even explain it really, I hate their city, fans, players. Hmm, and maybe the St Louis Rams i typically root for. I think that another great organization that gets over looked alot.

I hate the Colts.

I dislike the Steelers, 49ers, Broncos, Patriots

Love the Ravens

Like the Cowboys (before we got the Ravens, I needed a team to root for and picked them for two reasons. I really liked Roger Staubach when I was younger and I think cheerleaders in cowboy boots is hot)

I dont mind the Panthers, Eagles, Chargers, Dolphins, Bears, or Texans.

I hate the Steelers, Patriots, Cowboys, 49ers, Raiders, Falcons, Saints. The Seahawks are getting there, Im glad they won their first SB, now I can hate them. I hate most of those teams because of their fans honestly.

Dislike:

1) Patriots - glorified cheaters with no legitimate Super Bowl victory.

2) Broncos (Peyton Era) - overrated.  Back-to-back soft schedules 2012 and 2013.

3) Ron Winter - his officiating is about as disruptive as a third football team.  That's why he's included.

4) Steelers - despicable tactics and pocketing officials (SB XL, 2009 AFC Championship, 2008 season).

I like the Tampa Bay Bucs this year...feel like they have a legit chance to emerge in their conference considering the Saints are looking like a rebuilding team at the moment. If they can get themselves a QB, a pass rusher. and some o-line support and maybe a few receivers they could be a dangerous team. They already have some staples in place on offense and defense, great head coach, great defensive coordinator. They are a few pieces a way from finally becoming serious playoff contenders and with the Saints and Falcons looking weak this is their chance to emerge.

I actually like all of the NFC North teams to some varying extent. Probably my favourite division aside from the REAL north.

Otherwise, I have a soft spot for the Panthers, Saints, Hawks (time will tell which way that swings), and the Cowboys are kinda fun to watch with all of their offensive weapons. I'll very rarely be disappointed if any of them lose, but I find it really easy to support them for any given reason (fans seem classy, I like certain players or playing styles that they employ, franchise deserves it, etc etc). In the AFC, I quite like the Jags and the Texans - I often root against the Texans, but that's just from a Ravens perspective. If the Ravens can't win the Lombardi, the Texans are the next AFC team I look at.

Teams I dislike: Bengals and Steelers are obvious. Chuck in the Broncos (overhyped, sick of the fans already), Patriots (same thing for the most part, but chuck in being an evil empire), 49ers (fans, players) and the Falcons (Flacco/Ryan dynamic, the wretched hive of scum and villainy that is their forum). It feels like I hate far more teams than just the six, but I guess as a Ravens fan I get exposed to five of them a LOT.

I can't bring myself to hate the Browns. It's always fun to laugh at them, the Jets and the Cowboys, but that's about as far as my dislike goes.

To go for a top five for each...

Dislike:

1) Steelers

2) Bengals

3) Broncos

4) 49ers

5) Patriots

Like:

1) Saints

2) Packers

3) Panthers

4) Bears (still have a soft spot for that defence from 2012. Single-handedly won my fantasy league)

5) Texans

I like the 1-4 and 4-1 split of NFC-AFC teams. I'd say that's fairly common.

Not only do I dislike, I hate the Steelers and Pats. They are the kind of teams that when they are up by 30 in the 4th quarter with 5 or so minutes left......they still pass the ball, and try to run up the scores. Cant, and will never like them because of it

Only team I watch other than the Ravens is the Jets mainly cause of Rex...even though as a head coach he isn't what I would call a great success, still love em for what he did with us and the defense.

Watching the NFL Network and seeing the clips of the old Bears vs. Packers rival; got me thinking about teams you "like" for whatever reasons.

I've always like the Raiders.  But the Cutler led Bears and the Cam led Panthers are also growing on me!

Why wouldn't you run up the score, this is football and they are paid to play for the whole game and show no mercy. That's stupid to take the foot off the gas just because you feel sorry for your bad on the day opposition.

It has nothing to do with feelings. Last time I checked it doesn't matter how much you win a game by, and it also doesn't matter how many passing yards you get, a win is a win, and there is no need to pass at the end when up by 3 or more TDs just so you can look good on the stat sheet. Brady's 07 season stats looked nice with those record breaking numbers, but what did it all amount up to be? a loss............isn't called being sympathetic its called showing respect.

Dunno why this post got negged. I thought what you said was more than fair. Especially on the Panthers - watching their offence is actually a fair bit of of fun. It's not some delicately crafted artwork, but the objective (American) football fan in me enjoys having absolutely no idea what they plan on trying before any given snap.

You're right the NFL should make a new rule saying to stop the game if a lead becomes too big, that's nonsense what's the point of letting your opponent off the hook instead of thrashing them. Anyone who's played rugby or college football knows what its like to get bashed from bell to bell while the other teams keeps going full pace in the last minute of regulation, you take your lumps and move on instead of crying. It's actually better if a team gets thrashed bell to bell anyways because it gives the organisation or coach more reason for immediate change to get the dead wood out.

I feel like the idea of not running up the score is the ideological equivalent of a misnomer (not idea how to articulate this, sorry...), kinda like cricket being a "gentleman's game". The idea itself seems to come from honestly a pretty arbitrary stereotype.

Yeah exactly, no one ever complains on whatever rugby or football team that a team is running up the score so why should the fans anyways. You are paid to run up the score and play the full game ,I hate QB kneels. And personally if my team is getting slapped around I hope the score gets bigger and bigger so the coach is forced to axe the weak links instead of saying oh the loss wasn't that bad they just had an off day which always happens.
