I'd just like to back up this request.
I really appreciate the interviews and live feeds...but...
When you watch any of the press conferences (including post game press conferences when there is just one coach/player on the mic), you have to have your hand on the volume pretty much at all times. 
Volume level 100% when the question comes in and 25% when the question is answered.
Any mic pointed towards the journalists would be nice!

We feel your pain. Fans have been making this request of us for many years. We have improved, but we know the solution is still not the greatest. Because of the setting of our press conferences, it is very difficult to get good audio for every question asked -- particularly the ones held outside or in our fieldhouse after practice and in the post-game press conference room. We have tried different things, but there is no set order for the questions being asked and it's not clear who will ask the next question until they begin talking. We'll continue to try to capture the best audio as possible for the questions.

Tablet. I'm always using my ipad mini on the site due to not having a desktop/laptop solution.

How about actually putting mics in front of reporters? If you think about how many fans actually tune into these updates I don't see why you wouldn't go out of your way to make that happen? Either that or just pass a little mic around.

The best I can do is pass this on to Admin 3 again I'm not sure it's going to be much different then on September 10th but will again pass this on.

We hear you Sampurplepain and have been hearing the same comments from fans for years about this. It's a little better with press conferences that are held in our auditorium because we have microphones hanging from the ceiling that are supposed to pick up audio from the media members sitting in the audience. However, it's a bit trickier for pressers at other locations. Unfortunately, it's impossible to pass a microphone to the person asking the question since there is no order to the questioning. It's not known which reporter will ask the next question and the questions come from all around the room/area. We'll continue to do our best to try and pick up the audio of the questions as best we can.

Almost got my ears blown out because of the sound "controlling" at the end of a press conference today. The basic sound level was pretty low and I had to turn my volume up a lot and then BOOOOOMSHHHHHCHCHCH!!! I think my neighbours heard that too. Oh yeah, and the left channel was mute the whole time btw. So maybe somebody needs to work on this thing a little bit more.
