It's always the weekend after Memorial Day. It's a gathering of the Roosts, Nests, and other fan groups.

Yeah but any body can be a part of the festivities right ?

Yes, anyone can be a part of the general festivities. Some activities, like the pub crawl, are open only to the sponsoring organization's members (though the bars are open to the public). Just don your purple and head on "downey o-shun".

It will be the 50th annual Ravens Roosts convention and parade, which is usually the week after memorial day.  The Ravens Nests have their OC Rave activities of fun and games at the Spinnaker which you need to be a member and register to participate..  The Ravens have their beach bash up at the Clarion, with 98 Rock live broadcast, a bacon and beer breakfast at the Greene Turtle with the beer starting after 9am due to liquor regulations.  Everyone goes to watch the parade on Saturday.  You really don't need a car once you park at the hotel, there is a north-south bus line that runs 24 hours a day and is $3 for a day pass.  The Roosts started out as the Colts Corrals and their first one was in 1964.

50th ?

The Ravens Roost groups started as the Council of Baltimore Colts Corrals and became the Council of Baltimore Ravens Roosts in 1996 when the team came to town.  They got their start in 1957, and had their first Ocean City Convention in 1964.  The Corrals and the Baltimore Colts Marching band stayed together when the team left for Indianapolis in 1984.  The band became the official band of the Ravens in 1996 and became Baltimore's Marching Ravens in 1998 when the new stadium opened up.

The fan club had their annual convention even in the days when there was no football in Baltimore, so this is their 50th.  And as Paul Harvey used to say "Now you know the rest of the story".

That is what I figured, but I considered the possibility of a typo.
