Quite possibly one of the worst superbowls to watch

If only the draft happened sooner

I loved watching Denver get dismantled, but generally I'd agree.

Peyton Manning's record season ended how Brady's 2007 record season ended - in a SB loss against a great defense. Every SB winner keeps proving defense wins championships.

Even if Wilson wins an MVP, he's still not anywhere in the same league as Flacco for a post season performance.

The kid did a spectacular job given that this is his 2nd year in the nfl.  Outstanding composure, no big mistakes, some great passes and conversions on third down.  His first year in the league his team goes to the playoffs and the 2nd he wins a SB, the kids deserves a million compliments.  He will continue to grow and improve.

I know Ben R. won in his 2nd year also, what other QBs have won in the 2nd year?  I think there are 7-8 others.

Did you notice how no person that drives a truck knows how to drive?  Every time they park they're sticking out in the middle of an aisle, taking up multiple spots, and generally causing trouble for everyone else.  And god forbid it snow, those are always the guys going 80 when there's no grip on the road because they think the truck magically gives them grip.

I'm gonna start taking pictures of the ones with the REALLY great paint jobs to send to you.

At least three times a week I find myself screaming "GET YOUR TANK OFF MY ROAD!!!"

It's whatever General Motors (as they've been an official NFL sponsor for years) chooses to promote/giveaway to the Super Bowl MVP. 10 years ago, the winner received a Cadillac Escalade; last year, the new Corvette. Now, it was their new Silverado.

Ah okay. As far back as I remember (to the Saints win over Indy) they always got something sporty, so I figured it was "a sports car" specifically instead of whatever they wanted to promote...

Unitas won a Corvette in 58 but traded it for a station wagon, true story.

I'm pretty surprised Flacco didn't trade in his car for, you know, something his 6'6" self can actually fit into.

Tbf, defence didn't really win it for us (aside from that last drive) but you have a point. I think it's generally more accurate to say you need a defence to win.

I thought Brooklyn 99 was next, but New Girl is also funny.

Probably more intense than the SB too.

8 points and 306 yards...  gotta be a record, in the other direction for him.

...aaand here come Manning's groupies with excuses for his latest failure lol.

I can't even remember the last time Manning only got one touchdown in a game...

Can anyone here? Because I got nothing...

The media did ABSOLUTELY pin these guys in a corner... only makes them come out and play harder.

And this is why you go for the underdog.

Bill Maher.

Speaking of which, I should probably take down my Christmas trees... I left them up in hopes that if I left them up again this year, the team I wanted to win WOULD win.

2 years in a row. Only weird if it doesn't work.

They weren't as disrespected as we were last year.

I'm sooooooo happy that Denver didn't win this....

Agreed! The twelfth man drives me nuts, Russell Wilson is a like able QB. Manning just solidified himself as a choker

Well tbf, our defense allowed just 6 points til the lights went out right. i dont think its fair to credit those 2nd half points to our D. And a fumble inside our own 20 that led to a score sparked their momentum IIRC. But they held when they needed to. When i mean defense wins championships, i also mean the games prior. They were stingy all 4 games

Can't post it here probably, but Deadspin just posted something awesome about Pete Carroll.

You are correct...  inappropriate content.

Who would have thought Wilson would get a Super Bowl ring before Luck/RG3?

It shouldn't be surprising, Seattle is such a complete team compared to those franchises.
