With hindsight, I'm glad the 9ers almost brought it back. It means our win will become far more immortal than this one. SB48 will be seen as just like SB35 in 10 years time - really nice beatdown but no-one will care about it except Seahawks fans.

 

And this Ravens fan cause I can't stand the broncos!

I just realized I'm drinking beer that's brewed in Colorado. I'm lucky Seattle hasn't intercepted it as I was going in for a sip.

Who else is getting the MVP, though? The whole Seahawks defense? An ironic SB MVP for Mannings playoff jitters?

To make it fair, someone from defense should get it. But Percy will have a vote.

I hate the Broncos too, and I'm loving this, but I don't think I'll care in 10 years. Certainly not in the way I care about SB35.

Wish they could give the mvp to a whole unit. their d is scary good right now, Chancellor especially. I wonder the last time Manning was held to single digits.

I wonder if Peyton values his individual records more than rings.

Nevermind, I got my answer.  

 

Also, apparently Demaryius Thomas has a record for receptions in a Super Bowl.

Why, though? Brady hasn't done jack in the playoffs since the '04-'05 season (Not like anyone ever acknowledges the likes of Adam Vinatieri and NE's turnover-forcing defense when it comes as the MAIN reason why those teams "won".). And, he's also had some pretty downright terrible games in the playoffs, since then, as well...

Brady has the better playoff record, but that wouldn't put either one them in my top5 all time, if you ask me. It's just the comparison between the two. I would pick Brady over Manning.

So happy this is ending this way.....  The way that they Snubbed their noses at the Ravens in Game 1...  They needed to be knocked down a few pegs.
