The Broncos are winning this and everyone will see that Wilson is overrated. Cue the "is Peyton the best ever" talk, only two years after the "Is Eli the better Manning" nonsense.

Weather will matter little, only thing that matters is wind.. Seattle has way to much team speed overall for Denver all over the feild especially on turf. Seattle doesnt allow short completions or yac, which Denvers offense needs to be successful.

Denver also hasnt played an offense with a mobile QB like Wilson...he will run, extend plays and create opportunities....ala Big Ben but faster and better oline.

Seahawks should win this game.

Manning will struggle bigtime with quick Seattle passrush and tall, fast and physical Seattle secondary. Seattle is à turf team, Denver grass team this also favors Seattle.

Howie Long should know the Seahawks are a zone based defense and they're not changing that based on where Demaryius Thomas lines up on the field.

I don't care really. I like the Seahawks as a team better (plus I know a lot more people who are Seahawks fans) but I wouldn't mind Peyton getting another ring either.

Since when has the super bowl had a red carpet?

I thought they've had it for a while.  There's so much fluff surrounding the Super Bowl now.

I am fine with either team winning. How cool is that?

I'm with you, I'm not really invested in either team.  There are players I like and don't like on both sides.

Apparently the Hawks run a similar scheme to the Jags - who managed to force one of Manning's worst games of the year. The difference is that the Hawks actually have talent on defence. If the legion can hit (and rattle) both Thomases early and often, that'll cut back what Manning has to work with. I know there's still Welker and Erica Decker, but I don't think they can win a game on their own.

I would be more apt to believe they were a team of destiny if they had to succeed in the face of real challenges like beating the top seed on the road in zero degree weather instead of having two cakewalk games in spring like temperatures at home. They had the post season handed to them on a platter. The ravens last year were a true team of destiny that ran through the gauntlet to overcome real adversity for the lombardi. Manning is just the sexy choice this season that is a cash cow for the league.

This guy wins mvp for playing with pretty much the same team tim tebow(who's not even in the league anymore) won a playoff game with (actually probably an even better team now).

I hate brady, but he carried his team on his back to a winning record, fighting multiple key injuries. THAT is truly a most valuable player, not the aging future hall of famer hired into a cupcake situation who runs the score up on weak teams to "secure his legacy". Yet he gets snubbed because mannings the golden boy of the moment.

Nothing about the broncos season makes them a team of destiny.

Exactly this. They're not a team of destiny any more than the Miami Heat are. They just managed to stuff a roster for a couple of years. They're a good side and all, but when Manning goes they'll be up to [you know what] again for quite a while.

Everyone it seems is picking Denver. I can't believe they think Peyton can do some damage to the LOB. Crazy. Seahawks D is why I'm picking Seattle. Too good for Peyton to do any damage.

Ugh......... This is why 2 weeks between the Championship and Super Bowl is too much time. So much talk that we already heard with some new player interviews thrown in. Let's play this game!

Not getting into politics, but do we really need this contentious nonsense in the middle of game coverage?

Wish I thought of that. I have the 2000 one on hard drive and it's one of my favourite things in the world atm.

That game is a thing of beauty. That's about as close to a perfect defensive game as you can ever get, and it happened in a super bowl no less.
