If anything they're almost like the 2006 defense in terms of league dominance at their time... But the game has evolved into more passing since then. Maybe 2011 Steelers or Ravens defenses. Now that I think more about it, Seahawks d isn't even close to 06

I only said 2008 Steelers because they was pretty much #1 across the board in every category like the Seahawks are this year. And if the Seahawks hold Peyton to 5 FG like we did in 2006 then we may be able to compare them together.

The fact that all these "fans" are complaining about the cold weather for the super bowl makes me sick. This will be a great super bowl there's no better games and more entertaining games than snow games. I wish they would have a superbowl on the east coast every other year not in places like arizona and new orleans etc.

Why do Seahawks players love making things about them and not the team? First Sherman and his stupid pointless rant, now Marshawn Lynch is acting like a baby at media day. He only showed up for 6 minutes yesterday and showed up for that same amount of time saying and I quote... "I'm just here so I don't get fined".

Why are people talking about snow and the Super Bowl?

It ain't gonna be snowing this Sunday unless the weather forecast changes very drastically.  It's going to be low 40s...basically a normal November/early December NFL game.

Even though I am not a Manning fan it is becoming more difficult for me to keep pulling for Seattle because of the antics of Lynch and Sherman.

Any hatred towards Sherman is well deserved.

Lynch on the other hand...he doesn't want to talk to the media, that's not his thing, I don't know why anyone would have a problem with it?  We're all different, and frankly, if I was a NFL player, I would probably hate the media as well.  They take any little thing you say and try to twist it into some big story when it's really not.  They did it last year to us, and they'll probably do it again this year.  I commend Lynch for basically giving a middle finger to the NFL and the media and saying "I'm not going to play your media game."

That's fine but he was fined $50K during the season for skipping out on media. The fine was taken back after Lynch promised to fulfill his media time throughout the postseason. The media says he didn't but the NFL sides with Lynch and apparently he won't be fined.

I don't care. Media day is boring and unwatchable. Lynch probably would not have said anything ground-breaking, regardless. It's become more of a story that he didn't talk which is ridiculous. But we all know the media will take any little slight personally and cry about it *cough*GlennYounes*cough*

As far as Lynch goes I can see his point in a way considering the stupid questions some of those Journalists throw at him.

I feel bad for lynch  to me he looks like he is about to have a full blown panic attack. I understand the position he is in and I get that its part of the job but wow can't the media see how badly he is handling it . I don't think he's being smart or nasty . I also agree with what he said his play speaks for itself , and boy does it  . Sherman spoke his mind and got raked over the coals , now Lynch is getting raked over the coals for the opposite. I watched media day last year its a circus and I can't say I blame him.

yuck are you serious, it's the opposite of me me me he doesn't wanna do the stupid mundane interviews with reporters that no fans give a damn about. The reporters are crying and persisting because getting these interviews is the only way they make their undeserved pay cheques. Lynch rules.

Don't know if I can stay behind the Seahawks. While only a handful of players have been proven to have violated NFL substance abuse policy and suspended, the Seahawks have led the NFL in substance abuse related suspensions. Carroll has been associated with many players who have used PEDs. Who knows how many players have used PEDs undetected?

I think the NFL might soon be facing a battle against PEDs.

Yeah but the entire broncos front office was getting boozed up and hitting the road like nobody's business a few months ago and von miller got caught paying off his drug tester.

I think this game is a case of "pick your poison" in the controlled substance arena.

Lol people hate Sherman for talking too much and Lynch for talking too little. Sports fans are such hypocrites.

I will never root for Peyton Manning.

Go Seahawks.

It's supposed to be around 40 degrees F. for the Super Bowl. So if anybody complains about this it shows that they have no idea what it means to play football, or what real cold is.

But I do reserve the right to complain about how the Broncos have lucked into warm weather for three straight matches. ^_^

Ugh it's so annoying that it's gonna be warm on Sunday, especially since it's so cold this week.

It's like everything is working in the favor of the Broncos, specifically Peyton Manning. It just happened to be a little bit warmer in the Divisional and Championship Games in Denver than usual. Now after all the talk about a cold weather Super Bowl, it actually will be warmer.

It's like the Broncos are the team of destiny this year.

this. So no it's not gonna be that cold of a game now? lame I wanted to see a snow bowl, but at least the complaining fans saying boo hoo we don't want denver to lose because of the cold and we don't wanna sit in the cold might stifle themselves now.

As time progresses who knows how cold it might end up.  The game starts late and half time is extended for the game.  It's not just the cold, but the winds of the stadium as well.  I'm rooting for the Seahawks to win.  Pete Carroll could hang that over Jim and Sherman could obviously hang that over Kaeps head.  Would be funny if the Broncos lose cause of a Welker drop.

Lol I won't at all be surprised if welker has about 3 drops for the game, I think lynch runs right over them too and harvin is a wild card for this game we'll see how he does.

That is Welker's trademark: ball-dropping in crucial time....

Peyton Manning will dissect Seattles defense. Welker will have a huge game. Lynch will get shut down.

34-24 - Broncos.

Seahawks are a different team outside of Seattle. I think Denver's offense will be too much for them. Especially if Knowshawn can get it going.

Just went through NYC on my way back from work. The traffic was crazy, roads blocked off and all. I went by the espn camp and met life stadium.

During that 45 minutes + I'd say I saw 5 Seahawks fans for every Broncos fan. The weather is beautiful out. It felt like driving through 1 giant stadium with how many people were out walking around, streets blocked off, cops and cabs everywhere....I'm finally on the turnpike and I'm getting the hell out of dodge!

Also heard there were more Seahawks fans around. Hope that helps them.

It's like the Broncos are the team of destiny this year.

I would be more apt to believe they were a team of destiny if they had to succeed in the face of real challenges like beating the top seed on the road in zero degree weather instead of having two cakewalk games in spring like temperatures at home. They had the post season handed to them on a platter. The ravens last year were a true team of destiny that ran through the gauntlet to overcome real adversity for the lombardi. Manning is just the sexy choice this season that is a cash cow for the league.

This guy wins mvp for playing with pretty much the same team tim tebow(who's not even in the league anymore) won a playoff game with (actually probably an even better team now).

I hate brady, but he carried his team on his back to a winning record, fighting multiple key injuries. THAT is truly a most valuable player, not the aging future hall of famer hired into a cupcake situation who runs the score up on weak teams to "secure his legacy". Yet he gets snubbed because mannings the golden boy of the moment.

Nothing about the broncos season makes them a team of destiny.
