Game of Thrones season 4

That anchor blade thing was awesome. Best battle of the show IMO.

That bit was nice. The whole episode was great imo. I loved the Blackwater format, though there were one or two things I expected to happen there.

I'd say next week they do the fallout from the two most recent episodes and then it's no more GoT for another year. How depressing.

ED: I meant to add, I am the only one who sees a bit of Joe Flacco in Sam Tarly?

Not really impressed with this weeks episode. Giants on Mastadon back was a treat though.

Awesome episode. Since I dont read the books, I totally thought Sam was going to die as soon he said "I promise Im not going to die" to Tilly.

Finally saw the episode, cool battle. This next episode is going to have so much happen between Arya and the Hound/Kings Landing/ the Wall.

I can take a pretty good stab at what's going to happen with the other two, but I'm interested in how they'll handle Arya and The Hound. They've already made some small deviations to the plot in the book.

I can take a good stab at what will happen with the Hound in all honesty. As for the others, I have whispers but no more.

Yeah, the changes haven't been serious ones (yet), just stringing out their adventures for a bit longer.

I think show viewers will really enjoy this episode. Like I say, they dropped a few clues that it'll be more than simply resetting the board this season. They could leave this season with anywhere up to four cliffhangers imo (don't know if that's the right word. Moments that suggest there's going to be something big but you'll have to wait until next season to find out).

If they end the season on a cliffhanger(yes that is the right word btw)...

Some very unique and cool panoramic camerawork for some of the battle scenes at castle black. I suspect this is something they can continue to expand on take advantage of. I suspect the technique to be copied to an extreme on the big screen as well.

I just got a text from the GF last night, who's still catching up with the show. She was in enough shock that they killed off Viserys, so imagine her reaction when she got to Ned Stark's death.

You know nothing, sweet child of summer.

a crown fit for a king!

That guy seriously had it coming. No way someone that volatile and entitled would cope in a Dothraki horde, much less having to find an army for himself if it came down to it.

Yeah that was a sweet scene, then the clunk as his head hit the ground as well lol

I thought that clunk was a bit weird (unless molten gold hardens faster and more solidly than I thought), but I agree there was something satisfying about watching him go like that.

I just assumed that it solidified fairly quickly as it was just hitting that melting point when poured and had a couple seconds to cool before hitting the ground and the change in temperature was large enough that it was that quick although I don't know how long it takes gold to freeze back up once melted lol

Neither do I, so we'll just call it a wash or something. :P

So... should be a very entertaining episode tonight

I haven't read the books but I know if this is Tirans last episode it is going to affect my enjoyment of the show.

Yeah things certainly don't look good for Tyrion, hopefully it isn't Ned Stark all over again

It's not just a main character getting killed off. I thought rob was a bigger shock then ned. But Tyrian is just such an interesting character.

Well I am quite pleased Tyrian survived. Of all the people I thought he would kill I figured it would be his sister. Surprise. I was surprised how cold blooded aryia was with the hound as well. Plent of cliff hangers all around. Ugh.

I found it hilarious when Varys heard the bells ringing and just decided to walk back to the ship and sit next to Tyrion.
