Ravens Season-Review Press Conference

Im shocked Juice didn't get on the field the way they talked about Juicecheck.  I like his versatility too I hope he can really come on and help.

He also predicted Arthur Brown wins a starting spot.

They have been stressing on the defense not coming up in the clutch so I expect some changes in the scheme.

I remember why I like having Bisciotti as an owner.  As much as he didn't want to face the media after this year, he's still there.

Three questions left and they're talking about expanding the fanbase. Humbug. :p

And he's upfront and honest about everything.  He lets Ozzie and John do their thing as well.

Yup, though right now I wanna smack him a bit for comparing rising ticket prices to rising gas prices in that we still drive anyway.  Apples and oranges dude!

Interesting insight on those burned TOs. He said they were mostly due to the phones going out, for what that's worth.

Castillo will be back as OL coach. Continuity is key.

Harbs did allude that Castillo has areas to improve in.

Even though I'm kind of disappointed that he'll be back, it seems like they have a plan and I like that at least.

I'll buy it. I watch this every year and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that you always get the truth with Harbs and he is very accountable.

I don't mind him, they just need to sort out keeping the lines of communication clear.

That and even he said all of the staff needs to find a way to communicate even when the stadium gets loud.

I think they're going to work on diversifying the scheme more to include more gap schemes and such. I'm a Juan fan, and I think he's going to make it work next year.

Sounded like Moeller was on his way out, too.

It seems that they believe the OL issue was the personnel on the field, and not the scheme. I can't completely disagree. While I'm sure the ZBS didn't work out as well as they had hoped, we still had some pretty bad players out there this year.

Hrmmm, why can't they give Joe the reigns to make a call if the phone goes out?

I thought the ravens would be looking for new receiver coach and offensive line coach and its alittle disappointing to know Jim Hostler and Juan Castillo will be back.  I wonder if Jim Caldwell will be offensive coordinator as well?

I still think they're waiting for the dominoes to fall before doing anything major.

and The Raven is happy. LOL

I speculated this when they fired WM.

I don't like it, and as I was going the say to you in our late night debate - I guess we will see how things shake out with Castillo next year.

You right but Ozzie said he thinks they have the best receiver coach and Harbaugh already said Castillo would be our offensive line coach.

I said this earlier in the season on here, Gino was a huge step down from Birk. We know the Center is basically the guy runs the o-line. If we brought in Alex Mack for example and we still didn't improve, then it would  confirm what we knew all along, Juan WAS the problem. If our o-line improves with a better Center, than we know Gino was the problem.

And I think that's what they'll be trying to do.  While the OL was pretty bad last year and Juan was the new guy, I don't know if it's all his fault.  He has a long track record of being a really good OL coach.  Did that ability suddenly disappear?  I'd still rather him not be here because some of the blame can be attributed to him, but I'm willing to ease up a bit and see if the personnel was the main reason we were so bad in that area.

I really hope they will allow Flacco to run the no huddle more often (for obvious reasons), but at the same time, I hope Flacco will be vocally assertive enough to the coaches to let him do his thing. It should also help out any OL issues, as we've seen the chains move faster in the no-huddle.
