Defenceless receivers, personal fouls

Ok, so by now I'm sure we've all seen that digs was fined for his hit on Marvin jones right on the touch line. Now I haven't seen this since the game, but real time, and after seeing the replay I was disgusted that was flagged. I thought he drilled him in the upper chest area with his shoulder.

So, would you be in favour of college type rules to

1. Reduce those types of plays
2. Get more of them correct

The college rules are of course ejection, but the play gets reviewed upstairs and the rejection can be over turned. Currently it's still a flag, but they have to change that rule soon so the penalty is also over turned.

Frankly I'm sick of them getting so many wrong, so I'm behind them being reviewed. But I also can't see them reviewing them, ever, unless there is an ejection on the cards so I think them would have to come hand in hand.

I'd be all for it.

Problem is, the League already reviewed the play and determined that it was an illegal hit; not sure if a review in-game would be any different, sadly.

I think the players uniforms should come with no no squares so the defender has something to aim for.
It all starts with peewee and Pop Warner, teaching kids to tackle what they see and see what they tackle. I am all for the prevention of head injuries but they need to prevent the career ending knee injuries too without turning the NFL into flag football

The no no squares is an interesting idea, but it seems like it's not just the areas that are hit so much as what they're hit with.  'Intent' also seems to come into play, but as long as players aren't launching with the helmet and avoiding helmet to helmet hits the NFL should be ok with that.  Not saying they are, but they should be.

It's going to come down to fixing it when people just start playing football before they get into bad habits.

I figured as much, but I was using this hit as an example, that even with a replay, they still get it wrong too much.
