James Ihedigbo got fined for that hit - $15,750

The NFL needs to address the root of this problem not the resulting hit. Ihedigbo was launching in an effort to knock the player off the field, thus negating the reception regardless of possession. If the NFL made it so that players knocked out of bounds are rewarded possession and yardage then no need for the hit.

Sounds ridiculous and counter to the game that we love. RGIII said in the Washington media that he uses this to his advantage. He observes the defender and if they appear to be easing off in anticipation of him going OB, he breaks in bounds and carries on for a bigger gain.

How can the league have a QB saying he is abusing the policy and a defensive players fined for driving a player out of bounds with force??

Goodell needs to go. He is killing this game week after week!
