Colts signed their Punter for 5 years, he announced it on NFL Network. As Rich Eisen always says, Punters are people too lol

Jags resign backup QB Chad Henne. He will have a mentoring role to one of the rookie QBs whoever they choose to select at #3.

Good move by them.  Henne isn't half bad.

  1. Bryan Hall converted to linebacker last year for Ravens. Worked out for Eagles after being released last year. Back to defensive line now

Why am I not surprised by this headline: "Report: League Source says Jags likely out of 1st-Round QB Derby".

A league source tells the Florida Times Union that the Jaguars are unlikely to use a first-round pick on a quarterback after re-signing Chad Henne to a two-year contract on Friday.

Only the Jaguars would re-sign Chad Henne and be happy. Guess since they couldn't tank properly last year, they are going to try again in 2014 with a shot at Mariota, Winston and Hundley in 2015.

@RapSheet: "LT market is active & Bengals trying to not be in it by hoping to lock up Anthony Collins, who emerged in ‘13. LT-needy teams waiting on him"

All those who thought Collins could be the backup plan, that might not be an option.

Yet you didn't mention him by name.

Its gotta be smoke in Mirrors...if they pass on a QB they would be completely idiotic. Its has gotten to the point where they NEED to spend it on a QB. Manziel would be perfect there IMO. He will put butts in the buckets and actually make fans want to pay for tickets.

Im sure they are in the same boat as us...he probably wants more money than they want to dish out for a guy with limited starting experience.

If they do draft a QB I wonder if they'll let him learn behind Henne. Ulp!

They will probably have some sort of competition prior to the opening of the season. Henne is a capable backup, but he has proven in the past that he is no full-time starter.

After signing a brand new deal last year, Steelers WR Antonio Brown has restructured his contract just a year later freeing up $4M in cap space.

Yet the Steelers wonder why they are in cap hell every year.

Tbh I think if we can't sign Monroe then things will get messy no matter how we try to replace him.

Seems like Sproles could be sent packing. This is only going to get more and more active as we go on isn't it.

Thank you New Orleans for your support over the past 3 years! I will always be forever grateful. #WhoDat

And Jimmy Graham's response:

Wow unbelievable. Shocked and disappointed on everything that's gone on this offseason.

Old news....Lance Moore, Sproles, and Pierre Thomas have been actively shopped for the past few weeks in hopes to free up cap to resign Jimmy Graham. If no trade offers come up Sproles will be cut.

Well that's what happens with the salary cap these days. He should realize that a lot of it is in effort to get him locked up and with Brees and his contract. With that said, I am sure it is a pain to go through. Any chance we pounce on a guy like Sproles?

I just posted in the offense thread on Sproles.  He's over 30 and has had multiple concussions.  I'd say no.

Yeah the Saints and their cap woes are no mystery although I hadn't heard Sproles before tonight. And nice edit on the other post lol, I was about to bring up O'brien being with the Texans lol :P

Yeah that probably wouldn't be smart.

EXACTLY maybe if he didnt want a mega contract they could have kept these guys lol Its funny the Saints passing offense averages about 5000 yards and 40TDs a season and he really only accounts for about 25% haha who are the Saints gona have now besides him and Marques Colston?

They still have Stills and I think Meachem is back with them now.

He was another guy whom I thought the Ravens should look into acquiring.

Jets have also been looking at Ed Dickson, Dustin Keller, Brandon Pettigrew, and Scott Chandler. They are looking to improve on TE this offseason.
