I'm predicting that it'll be messy.

I'm glad we got Pitta done before it. In all honesty though Graham should be getting at least $12 million.

Three things:

The Jets franchised K Nick Folk.

The Seahawks officially cut DE Red Bryant and WR Sidney Rice.

I don't think he should be getting anything more than what the team can afford.

Yea I think as long as he clears Gronks contract and gets paid as the highest TE in the league. Something along the lines of 8 or 9 million per year. But honestly wouldnt be surprised to see him end up on another team.

So Miami has an interesting yard sale going on with guys like Dion Jordan, Mike Wallace, and Cameron Wake up for grabs. Looks like they are trying to fix all of Jeff Irelands mistakes like reaching on Dion Jordan last year and signing the one trick pony Mike Wallace too expensive.

Hm... so let me get this straight. In Tannehill's second year, they are close to the playoffs and then want to go and get rid of all their best players.

This is worst than Jeff Ireland.

Though I'll gladly take Mike Pouncey off their hands.

Apparently they like the talent in this years draft and are willing to go younger and cheaper if they acquire more picks. They said they are exercising Pouncey's 5th year option even through all of the Incognito nonsense, although Im sure if someone asked nicely and offered a 2nd round pick they would be more than happy to get him the hell out of there. I also wouldnt mind trading for Lamar Miller if they had him up for grabs, could be a good backup for Rice and Pierce and for some weird reason through the many big runs and big games he had last year Joe Philbin like Daniel Thomas better although Miller is the clear and present beast on that team so Im sure he would be up for grabs.

D'qwell Jackson contract should be done soon, he has had a bunch of visits already and still has more planned. Same with FS Louis Delmas

Im not sure there is a more aggressive pass rusher or someone with better quickness agility and raw pass rushing skill than Von Miller, although Robert Quinn has done nothing but sack the QB a ton in his 3 year career and looks very good as well. Wake is pretty good but his stats don't jump out at you- only 2 of his 5 seasons posted double digit sacks.

sacks aren't the be all and end all. If you were to go to pff or some other site that does pressures he'd be number 1, im fairly certain, over the last few years. He's also done it from both 34 olb and 43 end at a crap team with no other even average pass rusher to help him out.

Von miller has had dunervil, quinn has long, wake has? No one, he's done it single handily after coming from canada.

Well while I agree Wake hasnt had grade A talent around him, he did have Randy Starks on the d-line and a good group of LBs in Kevin Burnett and Karlos Dansby. Jared Odrick has also been pretty decent in the pass rush dept.

I didn't realize you could restructure a player's contract who was in his last year of the deal. Apparently you can as Steelers TE Heath Miller, who is in his last year of his contract reduced his cap number from $9.5M.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/03/report-steelers-rework-heath-millers-contract/

I'm thinking that this will probably be his last year and they will draft a young TE who, oh they can actually afford lol.

Also bad news for the 49ers, Kaepernick is reportedly seeking $18M a year in his new contract.

$18 is probably what Kaepernick should make, based on other QB contracts.

I'd take Kaep for $18.  That's a bargain.  ;)
