Oh I'm happy he's not back, but that deal is so bad lol

Still think Eric Winston is the best replacement.  He knows the scheme and he excels in the scheme.  He could really bounce back and be great value for us.

This calls for one thing and one thing only....

I'm not sure that's appropriate usage of that gif, but I'll allow it.

In other news, the 49ers have signed former Vikings CB Chris Cook to a one year deal.  I believe he's the athletically gifted kid that never lived up to the potential, but I could be wrong.

I hope he can salvage some of the promise he had his rookie year though, he always seemed like a cool guy.

Browner to the Pats on a 3 year deal worth $17 million.  As Schefter said, "Peter Schaffer can go play hockey."

Also, the Colts have Hakeem Nicks on a 1 year deal.

Patriots secondary this year:

It's like BB is playing Madden. Their secondary lineup is one you would only see in Madden.

As I wrote on Twitter and have said about Ozzie. You give the great front offices more money to spend, and they will put it to use. You give horrible front offices more money to spend and...... *Crickets* *Crickets* (Looking at you Jacksonville, mainly you Oakland).

Who the hell is Cam suppose to throw to next year?

In all seriousness, 2013 Draft Pick Tavarres King from Georgia is one of their remaining wideouts.

I would think everyone would feel the same way. He was a great team guy. Thats what hurts the most about it all to me.

Colts sign WR Hakeem Nicks to a 1 year contract...and his fantasy value is rejuvenated

He could really bounce back now that he's with a competent QB, assuming he stays healthy.

I love how nfl.com phrased the Oher deal.

"Oher, Titans agree to four-year, $20M pact"

Brandon Browner agreeing to 3-year deal with the Patriots on Friday does not mean he agreed to 2-year deal with the Patriots on Thursday.

So Schefter was right all along

Nope, Schefter fought back and I think he's a bit embarrassed about being wrong, hence the poking fun at the agent.  Rapoport broke this one.

Brandon Spikes to the Bills.  Looks like it's just a 1 year deal worth about $3.25 million.  I'm surprised he got so little, he's one of the best run stuffing backs in the league.  For that price I kinda wish we took him over Daryl.  He's younger and a better complement to Brown.

Patriots secondary this year:

I like the Revis signing, but Brandon Browner is vastly overrated and it'll be interesting to see how he actually performs in New England without the juice.

Or Earl Thomas behind him.

On the Oher subject, I just remembered, isn't his family from Tennessee?

He wasn't suspended for juice. He was suspended for the same reason he was cut - he can't stop smoking weed.

Overrated? You're crazy bro. He is one of the mosy physical and intimidating defensive backs in the league, can play real tight coverage and he hits like a freaking truck. We haven't had anyone like him since Rodney Harrison. Dude is a straight up beast. With Revis and our existing backs, one of which happens to be the best safety in the league.... Showtime

[Do NOT post videos containing profanity]

Best off season for us since signing Randy Moss.

I like us signing browner a lot actually he'll be good and worst case scenario he's extra depth for our secondary. Edelman should be re-signed pretty soon too. So with that said I think the draft should focus on a first or second round TE, trading mallet to somewhere for some picks, using a pick on a new backup QB, and hopefully get some good pass rushing specialists this year.

The juice thing was a joke, but Browner is not that good. Sure, he's big, but being so so big is probably his downfall.

He has limited fluidity and bad change of direction. He'd be miserable if he weren't a full press man coverage corner.

He can't play off or zone at a high level because of limited fluidity. He also only played right cornerback.

He got away with lots of grabbing and pulling in Seattle and down field contact, so we'll see if that continues.

We're also talking about the secondary that turned five fifth round or later picks into starters since 2011, so it very well could just be Seattle.

As for the beat safety, Earl Thomas and Jairus Byrd are still in the league.

I understand you're hyped up, but come on man
