Yeah this is getting good lol. My guess is that if his agent is at a hockey game, Browner did not sign but you never know at this point.

If the Patriots add Browner to Revis, then their biggest weakness becomes their greatest strength.  Not happy about this at all - the one thing I could always count on the last 4-5 seasons was you could throw all over that Pats secondary.  Now they've found a way to take care of at least half the field, maybe the whole thing.

True but if they get rid of Wilfork, we will be able to run right at them. Their depth behind Wilfork was not that great last year.

Than we just run it on them....they will likely be with out Vince Wilfork and their run defense has been in steady decline the past couple of years. You also can't trust Darrelle Revis or Brandon Browner to stay healthy, Revis always plays with nicks and bruises and seems to wind up on injury reports constantly...while Brandon Browner has missed quite a few games due to injury.

Even if they both are out there in the secondary come playoff time...we  still have on of the top TEs in the league who will get soft coverage from the Pats weak LB and safety depth. The Pats are definitely still beatable...they are just trying to become Bronco proof after they gave up 400 yards to Peyton Manning last year.

They also cut sopoaga who want playing well anyway. But they are kind if starting from scratch there. Also big hole at lb

Yeah Spikes was their run stopper at LB and he will be missed if they don't re-sign him along with the need on the D-line

Titans signing wood yard and al woods. Solid moves for that defense.

Yeah they were moving to the 3-4 for they could use some more LBs, smart moves by them.

Pats look scary. Is anyone gonna be able to throw on them?

Just gotta deny Revis the ball...don't pull a Kaepernick and throw to him like an idiot. Find the mismatches in the slot and make the easier throws. And most importantly establish the run and pound the Pats to death... they lack a lot of positional depth on defense especially LB and d-line. I still don't see them getting past the AFC championship and at this point for them,to lose the AFC championship has GOTTA be equivalent to a first round playoff exit.

Titans will probably sign Oher to replace David Stewart's spot at RT.

Pats are going to have to give Tommy Kelly plus minutes lol

He's visiting you guys too.  Hopefully someone is stupid enough to sign him.

@AdamSchefter: "Line of day: @stephenasmith just walked into ESPN green room, sighed and said, "Man, I need to take a break from Skip...""

Schefter giving us the scoop.  He had a funny one last night about that agent's hockey game.

I saw and I'm praying it won't happen.

Darren Sproles signs 2 yr extension. Will be a Eagle until 2016

I wish we picked up Woods. He had a great price tag, too.

I wanted woods also. I had him in my mock offseason. I have no clue what the steelers were thinking letting him go.

Streiff apparently wants to stay in NO, according to Rapoport.  To be fair, I'd tell the Dolphins to get lost as well.

But, where are the Saints going to get money? According to Sportrac, New Orleans has a mere $1,971,157 left in cap room. Oh, Jimmy Graham...

If he wins in arbitration or whatever it's called, they're kinda screwed.  They still have him on the cheap TE tag right now.

123 if it makes you feel any better about losing guys, apparently Veldheer had no desire whatsoever to return to Oakland and made it virtually impossible for them to bring him back.  I heard he turned down $8.5 a year from them to get out.

If we land Browner our secondary becomes equal to Seattles, if not better, but our front seven won't be as good so it won't show quite as much. That said, our run defense started to improve last year towards the end. Remember, we lost Kelly and Mayo and Spikes to injury to. Spikes is gone but Mayo is a pro bowler and Kelly was playing better than Wilfork.

Our defense might be reminiscent of our Dynasty years in 2014 if we stay healthy.

Gronk coming back as well.

Very exciting off season so far. Beats signing Tebow and hearing our star TE is a serial killer.

So, basically, signing Jarius Byrd was as dumb as a move a general manager can make when his team is in an extremely tight cap window, wasn't it? Even if Byrd is only due $3.5 million in 2014, a team in that situation needs to know its limits. Sure, Byrd is an all-pro safety; but, that doesn't mean he was the only option to help them improve their safety position. I swear,  some teams think free agency is their only option to get better...

They clearly think Seattle is on to something.  I think the importance of Seattle's safeties is being blown out of proportion due to the Super Bowl win though.
