Happy to get Tuck and Woodley.

Justin Tuck actually had one of the best years of his career last year. 9.5 sacks in final 6 games, 11.5 on season. Plus he was terrific against the run. Woodley on the other hand was PFFs 4th most productive pass rusher while playing injured.

Another great thing about Woodley and Tuck is their versatility.

Woodley can play 3-4 OLB, 4-3 DE, and 4-3 OLB in the miller role.

Tuck can play 4-3 DE and also kick inside to three tech in certain packages

Can we afford Wilfork even short term?

Do think he is gonna get big bucks ?

You won't get him for vet minimum if that's what you're thinking. He's going to want one final pay day, otherwise he'd restructure with us

Oh my god WTH are the JAGS doing? 4 years 16M and 5.5M guaranteed for ZIGGY HOOD? I was assuming this would be a 1 year deal for the minimum and he'd be battling just for a roster spot.

They also gave way too much money to Beadles.  I'm not impressed with a lot of their moves.

yeah, we usually are not the big pay day kind of team for players this late in his career.

( which isnt to imply he is over the hill, but he is close enough to the top that Ozzie wont have too many dollars waithing for him )

@RapSheet: "This is an interesting twist. I’m told the #Seahawks are now interested in re-signing WR Sidney Rice, a salary cap casualty."

Wha?  Why?

If you are a bad team you have to overpay. Why else would anyone sign with you? I think hood has some potential. But all tgat said. This is quite a bit much.

I think it's more of a bad organization having to overpay, like the Raiders and the Browns.  Who would want to play there?  I think the Jags can afford to be a bit more careful since they look like they have the right people in place to turn it around.

Stupid Tampa, releasing Donald Penn.  Lessens the likelihood of Oakland getting forced into Oher.  I just want him gone so badly.

Well done Bill.  That's an extremely potent QB duo, Revis can lock somebody down and Browner is an excellent number 2 and press-man player.  That secondary should be much improved.  They still need receivers and some front seven help though, although considering all their injuries they actually weren't as bad as you'd expect.

Jameel McClain is signing with the Giants.  Good for him.  Glad someone signed him.

Brandon Browner's agent, Peter Schaffer, said his client is in negotiations w/ "four teams and we do not have a deal. We arent even close."

We have conflicting reports on Browner

He is visiting Washington now  and NOLA is also on the books. If he signs with the Pats that will be a nasty secondary with Revis, Browner Dennard and McCourtey all back there.

Well he signed with the Pats so that secondary is in good shape. Like your new pic btw, hopefully Steve Smith is able to sign with us

Not sure if this was mentioned, but apparently DRC turned down a six-year, $54 million deal from the Broncos. He's good, but I highly doubt he's gonna be getting more than that. That was stupid.

I was surprised about that too...for a guy who talked about retiring than decided to come back...to decline that huge of a contract is rediculous. He is not even worth that much money anyway. He will get far less on the open market from Washington, Miami, or NOLA

He's really dumb turning that down.
