Darelle Revis is just as injury prone as Talib though...and last time I checked he can't catch passes from Timmy Brady. You guys have no WRs and that caused your offense to come up short in a ton of games last year.

People underrate our offense because they're so used to seeing us without Gronk. Hopefully he stays healthy this year and it'll put our offensive concerns to rest. Brady can do enough with minimal talent. I'd rather have a stiffling defense again. Our rookie WRs from last year are good too, and should take a nice step forward this year

Jets are giving former Broncos WR Eric Decker a 5-year, $36.25M deal, including $15M gtd, per source.

7.25 a year actually isn't terrible. Its an overpay but its better than I expected

I'm not a Patriots fan, but this draft class is stacked at WR. The Patriots could take one in the first and second rounds or even take a TE in the first and then a WR in the second and third and they'd still be OK.

If you're relying on the health of those guys, youd better be working on your routes so you can suit up for the Pats.

Yeah, that is better than I expected. I expected Decker to get paid. What did Tate get?

WOW Walmart rollback discount right there...considering he could have gotten Mike Wallace money...I guess the market shriveled up on him.

That's WR1 $$ for a WR2

C- grade imo.

Thats actually not WR1 money. Its pretty much in line with what Tate got from the Lions. Decker got a little more for basically having double the production

I was expecting him to get Cooper money.

You should march around Foxbourough demanding they sign Tony Gonzalez...he would come out of retirement to play for a contender.

On a more serious note...I think if you got a top TE in the draft to refill the Aaron Hernandez role and supplement for a possible loss of Gronk which is almost destined to happen...Jace Amaro or Troy Niklas...you guys could be dangerous. And if you sign Hakeem Nicks that would be awesome too.

Lot of people are expecting that. Good year for TEs, hopefully we can replace the serial killer.

Im not a damn putrid Pats fan either lol But I doubt they invest in the draft on WRs....they got Aaron Dobson in the 2nd, and undrafted youngster Kenbrell Thompkins was a big surprise too. What they lack is a veteran.

I could definitely see them go after one of the top TEs though.

They have Tom Brady so I think they could get rookies and be okay. I actually think it's very probable they take two WR in this class, a DT, TE and a CB

The problem is they went that route last year and they came across horrifc outcomes. It wasn't until Gronkowski came back and Julian Edelman emerged that Pats turned their offensive woes around. Their young guys Dobson and Thompkins will probably get better this offseason, and if Amendola stays healthy he could suffice for the loss of Julian Edelman. They are apparently looking hard at Brandon Lafell, and will also probably give Hakeem Nicks and James Jones a look too. I doubt they spend more draft picks on wideouts.

We'll see. I think they'll take two WR in this class. I do think they could sign one veteran FA. I think Nicks makes sense, but with Amendola's history not sure if they want that. I could see Britt because of the type of guy Bill likes. Jones makes a lot of sense as well.

Britts an injury prone head case. What part of that does Belichick like? NIcks might have been a possibility before the fines surfaced.
