Great minds think alike. On a positive note, the Broncos may now only lose by 14 points in the SB ;)

I think they'd lose by 42.0.  Can't fix Manning's choking.

Talib's $26M is the most EVER guaranteed for a CB.

Lmao what a stupid deal for Denver. That's the total value of Verner's contract with the Bucs.

Yea...he will probably get injured signing the contract....sprain his wrist and go on IR.

In all seriousness I wouldn't pay that much to a CB who fails to stay healthy...6 seasons and never played a full one.

But Vener's a little small and more of a zone player.  That type of guy is going to get cheaper as the position has been evolving.

True...but Talib is always an injury risk. Not worth that much $$$.

I like the move for them. The 49ers certainly have draft picks to spare. For what they're giving up, they're getting potentially good value. If it doesn't work out, he fades into obscurity and the 49ers lose out on a draft pick that likely wouldn't have made their roster anyway.

Raiders solidify their o-line by signing RT Austin Howard

Ugh, somebody take Oher off the market before Ozzie does something stupid.

I have had the strangest feeling for quite some time that we will end up resigning Oher. I guess it stems back to the contract negotiations that went down a few offseasons ago but went nowhere. I hope it doesn't happen but the idea has been lingering in my brain. We could do better...he should be nothing more than an absolute fall back option.

He won't be expensive at all, there's like no interest in him right now.  It would still ruin the off-season for me, he's a terrible player.

The tackles are starting to fall...the next top guys Zach Strief and Breno Giacomini both have visits scheduled and will likely be goners by tomorrow.

Im not sure what the hell happened to Anthony Collins...he got lost in all the madness that ensued. Im pretty sure he will be a Bucc.

Yeah I'd much rather give Wagner/draft pick a chance at RT

That's probably because he's going to stay in Cinci

EDIT. Read reports that he's going to TB.

If they release Penn id be ok with picking him up and slotting him at RT where he'd be better

Lol Raiders must've really hated Veldheer

Highest offer they gave him was 5 years, $30M, with $10M guaranteed

They went on to sign RT Austin Howard 5 years $30M, with $15M guaranteed

Von Miller & Demarcus Ware have the potential to be the best OLB duo in the league... That would be scary but teams who are most active in FA are usually the most disappointed in the regular season.

They should also be able to get a good defender at 31 in the draft since offense is expected to dominate the first round.

Definitely the team to beat next year in the AFC. I wonder who they'll replace Decker with?

Woodley & Tuck are flying in for a visit today. If these moves somehow pan out, I've gotta give Mckenzie a lot of credit.

Eric Decker is headed to the land of butt fumbles to visit with the New York Jets. They desperately need WR help with Jeremy Curley as their current WR1...they might just give Deck $8-10M per year.

Am I the only one sitting here thinking about how many of these players with big contracts will be cap casualties in a couple years?
