How in the world is Tillman your number one ranked CB? I would rank 5-6 FA CBs over him. At 33 years old and coming off a torn tricep, he's not what he used to be.

Name them

I'd also say Alex Mack is the best center, and someone whom the Ravens should consider.

It shouldn't be too long before McCown gets picked up. In 2013 he showed that he can start.

Couldn't decide between him and Albert

Albert misses games. Monroe doesn't. They're fairly equal in ability though.

I'm not sure Monroe hits the open market though. I'm guessing our FO is smart enough to lock him up.

Love the Captain. I mean what a great name coupled with a solid CB. Just great.

He didn't do that when he started for my Raiders :(

Yeah I'll still take Tillman over Shields, Munnerlyn, Harris and Talib. Terrell Brown doesn't have much of a case. It's funny how we forget about a guy who goes out for a year and how great they were for that Chicago defense.

no way Tillman is better than Talib at this moment in time

I wouldn't sign Talib. He is a punk. And one season out of 4 or 5 is a little too flukey for me.

I understand that he's a trouble waiting to happen lol, but his recent play does make him a better commodity than Tillman for the current free agency market; just think of him opposite Jimmy with Webb in the slot, now that'd be something

His style of play suits a team that doesn't draw penalty flags, if you know what I mean.

I think Titans and Wisenhunt somehow convince Josh Mccown to leave Chicago and come start in Tennessee. Better starter then Jake Locke.

You are missing the point

He's 33 coming off a bad injury

I get the point but I am still going to take him as a nickle corner over a lot of guys. Outside Grimes who is 2 years younger and Vonta Davis, the other guys haven't shown the consistency.

Chris Harris has been very consistent and is nice and young.

I would take Chris Harris and Alterraun Verner over Charles Tillman. Both CBs have been heavily underrated over the past few years and are much younger than Tillman. The issue with Tillman is that he played poorly this season, and that was before the injury. There's still a chance that he returns to his stellar 2012 form, but it's not a guarantee at this point.

If McCown was worth anything Chicago wouldn't have re-signed Cutler so quickly for so much money.

Well to be fair, Tillman had 2 injuries this year. He was dealing with his Knee all year and then he tore his triceps.

Also, Harris just tore his ACL, I wouldn't heavily pursue him.

A Front Office signing a Quarterback to a massive contract does not standing alone confer sound judgement upon Management.  McCown vastly outplayed Cutler.

Oh I agree, but in past I can see Titans thinking McCown is the savior and taking a chance on him.

True, and I'd be less concerned if he wasn't going into his 12th year. But that's the biggest question at this point. Given the groin, knee and triceps injuries he suffered this season, it's fully plausible that he may not return to his previous form considering his mileage. Harris has played at a very high level in each of the last two seasons, and while he did tear his ACL, he's only 24, and could be signed as a long-term investment, one that can be eased into the line up. Tillman likely has less than a handful of years remaining, and with that in mind, has more pressure to return to form in the very near future. This would place Tillman as a higher risk for any team willing to sign him. I personally see Harris as the better investment, but that's just me.

Rumor has it, Michael Griffin might be a salary cap casualty for the Titans.  He's a decent player, that's the kind of FS Ozzie would go after I think.  I believe it was an article I read of PFF yesterday but I can't recall specifically.

Well Justin Tucker's agent now has a contract to look at for when he is up for a new contract. The Cowboys have signed K Dan Bailey to a 7 year contract through 2020 worth a little more than three million a year.

http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/282426/cowboys-lock-up-k-dan-bailey-through-2020

Update: Oh Tucker's agent is going to eat this up or for our sake hope he realizes that it's just typical Jerry Jones.

Bailey is being given a 7-year $22.5 M deal with $7.5 M guaranteed. He also gets a $4.5 M signing bonus and $3.4 M per year in new money. Somehow I like to think Jerry didn't do well in Math when he was in school because he is shelling out a lot of money despite the fact they are $22 M over the salary cap.
