Beds....what ya got?

24 posts in this topic

Been sleeping on a king pillow top for probably 6/7 years. Lately, my lower back pain has been getting worse every year (occasional neck pain as well). Every once in a while I will opt to sleep on the floor and voila, I feel great the next morning.

So.........

Think I need a Sleep Number where the wife can choose a nice squishy number and I can go with a little firmer setting. Any thoughts here or what are you currently sleeping on? Yeah, its the offseason now :(

Olympic Queen, but I'd like a King. The only downside to a King is that my husband and I are both side sleepers. That would be so much room! However, from time to time, our two older boys gravitate to our bed in the middle of the night, so a King would help with that. I would just have to find a really great deal to believe I need to spend the money on a King mattress.

Queen Sized Bed. Four seasons or something like that...

I'm spoiled.

Downside is, the thing is so damn comfy that I have to move to the guest room for whenever there is guests lol.

Once you go king there is no going back.

Ironically .my wife and I were just talking about a new mattress. We stayed at a Hilton some time ago and that mattress was amazing. I normally snore but I did not snore on this one.

I need a different mattress, mine is way too firm for me since I'm a side sleeper.  I miss my memory foam.

Pricing Sleep Numbers tomorrow. Its like putting a new roof on your house. Not fun, but needed!

But it's a long term investment.  It'll last you at least 10 years, probably 20.

I've noticed that with soft beds. I wake up with pains in my shoulder and neck every morning.

And I sleep normally. Though I miss the thing after sleeping at hotels....

Ew

You just said you have chronic insomnia and that you sleep normally in back to back posts. So I believe the insane part. ;)

I just don't know man... I just don't know :p.

I'll sleep after very long periods (2 days or so....) without sleep lol. (Longest I've gone was 4. And then I started hallucinating... Let's not talk about this anymore)

But if you wake me up during that period of time im like a dog. I will make your life a living hell lol....

I'm still awake. God I need a more customized bed
