Playoff bandwagons

I'm not sure where all this Broncos hate on this forum comes from. I've never found Broncos fans obnoxious (definitely not like the Steelers), and Ravens have always had lots of success against them.

I would say it's less about the Broncos team and more because we severely dislike Peyton Manning.  As far as I'm concerned, I want to see him slide back into his usual choke-fest during the playoffs.

I still haven't decided who I would like to back this year in the playoffs, though I'm leaning towards Seattle.

I'll root for anyone playing against 40whiners or the Packers, and for the AFC, I want Chuck Pagano getting deep in the playoffs....

A lot of people are high on SF now. They're hot,, but one mist note how their wins were usually hard fought. They almost lost at home to ATL...

For me, it would be the 49ers. If John can't win it, then I like to see Jim do it. Keep the Lombardi trophy within the Harbaugh family.

Prepare to get negged to Hell. :p

i would love to see peyton (possibly) go out on a high note with a sb win after a record-breaking season.  his team is quite obnoxious (eric decker especially), but how could you really hate the guy?

colts wouldn't bother me either.  andrew luck is great and they have chuck.

seahawks and panthers get my nfc vote.  both teams are just cool.  both have great defenses (a ravens staple) and unique quarterbacks.

what i don't want

bengals (division rival, can't stand andy dalton, vontze)

patriots (no explanation needed here)

eagles(obnoxious fanbase/michael vick/desean jackson)

chargers(thanks for keeping steelers now go home rivers)

chiefs(alex smith has made fun of our pre-game chants at least twice in a condescending way...and then he lost)

packers(they don't bother me at all, but maybe give somebody else a chance, lol)

and no way to the 49'ers!

their post superbowl pouting couple with colin kapernick bicep kissing all over the place means i'll never support those guys...harbaugh family or not!

AFC: Denver.  Don't really like the team but I am a Peyton fan, despite him always beating us.

NFC: Eagles followed by Packers.  I hope the Seahawks and 49ers are one-and-done.

Eagles all the way!

I'm not sure where all this Broncos hate on this forum comes from. I've never found Broncos fans obnoxious (definitely not like the Steelers), and Ravens have always had lots of success against them. The last 2 SBs the Ravens won, they had to go through the Broncos, so I can understand Broncos fans disliking the Ravens though.

I also wouldn't mind if the Bengals won it all. Their poor fanbase deserves something lol. I guess my only problem with that would be that Andy Dalton would become even more overrated than he is now.

The only team I absolutely don't want winning anything are the Steelers.

Would love it if the 49ers won it all because of Q. Back to back SB rings for him would be awesome.

Maybe you weren't here a few years back when they started the season out 6-0 (and then tanked), but their fans were pretty bad. The fact that they completely flattened the Ravens the last two times the teams faced each other in the regular season probably doesn't help.

Also there's this:

I will root against all AFC teams except the Chargers and Chiefs. The Chargers because they broke the Steelers hearts which is always good and because their fans have always been nice to me; the Chiefs because I don't have anything against them and I have a soft spot for the zero-to-hero surprise teams.

In the NFC I'll root against the Saints and maybe the Panthers.

Basically, I'm trying to decide whether to jump on the Chargers or Eagles bandwagon.

Cincy or San Diego. My brothers has been a suffering Charger fan for too long and the Bengals are way overdue to make it deep into the playoffs/super bowl.

I don't trust Dalton....

I mean at all. I don't like Rivers either but I'll bet a pretty penny that he'll go farther

No... I can't live with them winning it all. I'd have to leave and run away to San Diego......

Time to start property shopping....

Kansas or Seattle.

But I'm more cheering for Denver, New England and San Fran NOT to make it, more than I'm cheering for any team to go all the way.

I'm kind of a Rivers fan. So I hope the Chargers can do it.

My backup team is ALWAYS the PACKERS, GO PACK GOOOOOOO. When they beat the Steelers in the SB it was heaven!

This is exactly what I was gonna say.  How can we all not love the Packers for this???

I like the Eagles, and I like their quarterback. I think they can get to the super bowl because they are great at running the ball and they are good at throwing it too. Their defense is not bad. I'd like to see the Chiefs and Colts do well. I like Peyton Manning and it would be cool to see him win this super bowl which will make him higher on the quarterbacks of all time list, but I don't like the Broncos. I like the Saints too but they have to play every game on the road, and they don't win many playoff games on the road.

Overall the Broncos weakness is their defense because it allows worse than average points per game, but if you take the Seahawks they score 26.1 points per game on offense. If they played in the super bowl it would be close to even because the Seahawks defense evens out the Broncos offense, while the Seahawks offense take on the Broncos defense which allows 24.9 points per game.

I would like to see a team who has never won the super bowl win it like the Panthers or Eagles. I am neutral for the Chargers and Bengals, as well as the Seahawks and Patriots.

Panthers are my second team I'm hoping to see win if the 49ers can't. Quite frankly, as long as a NFC team wins the Super Bowl I'm fine. Ravens are the only AFC team I want to see win the Super Bowl.

In the AFC, I'll be jumping on the Chargers' bandwagon for the simple fact that they kept the Steelers OUT... on the NFC side, I'll jump on the 49ers bandwagon because of the Harbaugh connection. Alternatively, I wouldn't mind seeing the Packers make another run. I like the Seahawks too lol.

Basically, may the best team win.

I'm rooting for the Panthers, Packers and Seahawks. I like Rodgers and Wilson and their fans aren't annoying. As long as the Pats, cincy or Broncos don't win I'll be fine.

Packers, Seahawks, and Panthers for me.

I love Rodgers, and I always support the Packers. They have great history, they're a great organization, and they play good football.

The Seahawks play nasty defense and they run the ball. They play that mean, smash mouth, punch you in the mouth kind of football, and I love that.

Panthers for the same reason as the Seahawks. That defense is fun to watch!
