i doubt castillo is going anywhere i just feel harbs is going to live and die with his coaches i mean how long did it take to get rid of cam cameron

He'll probably be hired as the O-line coach and Moeller will be fired.

I find it funny that a lot of people are slamming the offense for 'lack of creativity'.  You can't run creative plays when you can't block anybody.  This was the worst Ravens offense in the history of the team, and it all started with the line.

And like Tyrod...but in a more meaningful game with playoff survival implications; Flacco tossed 3 INT's vs the Bengals and the Ravens season-ending pick 6.  LOL!!  Cats in here jumped all over Tyrod for coming off the bench cold and turning the rock over 2xs last week.  Can't wait to see how cats in here try to spin this one for their boy!

He sucked... He has sucked most of the year, NO ONE has denied that. But seriously why is it so hard for MOST to understand it's not all on him.

I'm with you and flacco practiced with the ones!!

I guess we can put to bed the chatter about Flacco being a big game quarterback once and for all just like the other nonsense the Flacco peeps spew.  The Flacco guy is bad, even worse than I thought..

The weapons are there... you got to get the ball to them. Flacco needs to take the game more serious. "Joe Cool" is really "Joe apathetic". Im hoping we finally talk about the elephant in the room.

yeah those weapons have too catch the ball, those weapons have to get separation that has not happen. yeah Flacco has looked bad sometimes but everything's not him sometimes its oline or WR can't get open or its RB its a combination of a lot of thing but fault blame on Joe NO!

That's the issue.  Get the ball out quick.  How are go routes supposed to work if there's not enough time in the pocket?  That's seemingly all we run.  There's no creativity in finding ways to get guys the ball.

Flacco was terrible.

But getting rid of Flacco won't erase the fact that this was the worst running game in franchise history.

Solid point.

Definitely miscommunications.

Gradkowski, the center could play a part in that too

Remember when people were saying the Steelers O-line was horrific a few years back and Tomlin came out and said the O-line is not that bad, a lot of those sacks are the result of Big Ben holding onto the ball too long trying to make a play? Well, I feel a little of this plagues Flacco a little and not calling out the right protection schemes to the O-line. This is what makes QB's like Manning and Brady so good is they also know how to attack certain defensive fronts and they constantly yell out protection schemes to the o-line if they see overloads coming or they will hit the quick hot route/checkdown and their mental clock in their head is like a well oiled machine.Do people think coincidentally that Manning and Brady seem to always have the best offensive lines? Brady and Manning helps their line out a lot by what they call out presnap and by their pocket presence and mental clock in their head.

Another OC gone. Blame everyone else and the disease is still there: Flacco

There's got to be front offices around the league laughing that the Ravens wasted all that cake on this guy and they still hold onto their draft picks.

Unfortunately this team hasn't seen the worst of that dumb contract yet.

Im not from Baltimore and some of you "fans" make me feel embarrassed for Baltimore.

I think some of these "fans" are happy about how bad we are, it's a shame.

It's the "rant" thread; sense is not required.

"Fans" is the key part there.  Some of these guys are just here to stir up drama.  Ignore them.

Joe and his recievers need to work on those plays that are impossible to defend. If you think of Ben Roethlisberger and Heath Miller....   When Boldin was let go, Flacco lost the ability to just lob it up there and get a first down. If he really thinks he's the best QB in the league, he needs to work at making it a reality.. stop playing fantasy football on the gridiron.

I may harp on the talent of a lot of the offensive players, but honestly it is the coaching.

If I don't see Castillo fired soon, I will blow a gasket.

This better be an offensive oriented off season, in a MAJOR way. I'm talking trading for a high first rounder, an ELITE TALENT. As well as signing some talented offensive linemen at the RT and C position.

Unbelievable year.

Defense wasn't elite, but definitely good enough to win a championship with a decent offense.

For the people really feeling all those sacks were a straight result of our O-line playing bad, I have to disagree. You can have a all world O-line and if you send more on one side than they can block and the QB don't cal the right protection audibles, it will make that all pro O-line look worse than they really are. That's why when we had Rex here, certain QBs we would eat alive with the overload blizes but when we faced Manning and Brady and Rivers, those overload blitzes seemed ineffective.

I do think Flacco is a bit arrogant.

Arrogance serves QBs well sometimes but not always. I hope he holds offseason workouts with all the receivers.

I'm pretty sure no one is excluding Flacco, especially considering he had an awful season as well. However, it's easy to see that nearly everything surrounding him was pretty damn awful as well.

We've seen Flacco succeed when he had a decent offensive line and weapons to surround him. He didn't have that at ANY level of the offense. We had a horrible running game, a horrible offensive line, no weapons for most of the season outside of Torrey, and predictive coaching. The entire offense needs a major overhaul.

^ Flacco apologist logic. "Fire everyone else except Flacco! Our defense, DPOYs, coaches, and raise flacco salary! Thats what I call 'being happy!'

While I agree that Flacco holding onto the ball is a big issue, there are times where he's had no choice.  The receivers can't get open.  It's a big issue.  This was a very well thought out post, though.

But you can't really do that either if you don't have a run game.  Otherwise, the linebackers just drop back five yards and it's interception time.  That was the virtue of the old Ravens team.  Because the line could run block, they could throw those short passes.

What is this apologist nonsense?  The bottom line is with the money we owe him, he's not going anywhere, so you have to work with him.  Tell me how pointing out the obvious is apologetic?

^ Flacco hater logic: put everything on Joe and when someone points out ALL the flaws on the team call them "excuses."

Point out to me where I said everyone should be fired, or where I absolved Flacco of blame? I have all day.

I'm still seeing the same people trying to skirt the blame on the D and our coaches.

Thats my point

I already know this team needs help. But how can you help the team when you pay the man the highest contract and his the WORST QB this season?

If joe needs all that help, then what's is so special about him that a talented new QB can't improve on with a all star cast?
