UPDATED: MESSAGE BOARDS CLOSING AFTER DRAFT   03/08/2017

After careful consideration, we have decided that we will sunset our message boards after this year's NFL Draft. Since we opened our boards a decade ago, the digital landscape has greatly evolved. While we understand there remains a smaller group of highly-engaged fans who participate in conversation in our forums, a significant amount of the dialogue about our team and our games has migrated away to other social media platforms over the past several years. Our message boards will remain up and running through Friday, May 5th, and will be removed on May 6th. We recognize that this change may upset avid members of our community. However, we look to utilize our time and resources to focus on how we can best connect with our fans across an array of digital/social outlets. If you are not already engaging us and other members of the Ravens Flock on our Facebook page, Instagram account, through Twitter or Snapchat, we invite you to follow us on those channels and continue to participate in our social communities. In addition, the commenting feature on our website articles will remain intact. Members will be able to continue using their boards account to log in and share their thoughts at the bottom of every news story. We’d like to thank all the Flock members and our moderators who have brought thoughtful conversation to this space and made our community great for the last 10 years. Ravens Social Media Hub »

Really? Because he didn't suck last season with a lot less than that.

Last year we didn't had to pay the man the highest contract in NFL did we?

Here's a routine 3INT, 5INT game for you ms.flacco *hands flacco stat*

You have Ozzy and harbs to thank for that

They spent their cap money improving our defense... which was ranked like 26 last season...  this year it will be the offense

Now we're jumping to 2015? lol

I thought we were just heading in to 2014.

I don't know how all these other teams managed it all these years. Like we are the only team that had to pay a hefty contract to their QB.

This is the first hefty contract we have payed and it was to an average qb... most good teams that pay those hefty contracts have great qbs. The teams that are winning now like the 49ers seahawks... bengals... (Bengals will struggle with Dalton in the playoffs but have a good defense rb and wr that could carry them.) These teams build around there qbs or don't play the guy who makes the most money just because they feel they have too... they play the best guy at their position. Yes we won a superbowl yes we made the playoffs all but this year for the Ravens... but thise teams were built around different players and Flacco was around for the ride. This year we played to his strengths and the good teams showed that those strengths are not going to win games if u cant adapt. We have speed wrs and thats it... Flacco throws a deep ball and thats it. He cant make intermediate throws read blitzes check out of bad plays. Very seldom does he fell a rush and holds onto the ball or forces a throw... and always stares at his one target and cant see any other guys open. Should I go on.

You know if you hate Flacco so much there are 31 other teams out there. Half of which have never won a SB. Go root for them.

If we didn't...  Somebody else would have....  I would rather have him than play against him...  because who would we have without him?

I think our defensive situation will be pretty stable from here anyway. Wait until Ozzie does his thing with the offence (and hopefully the staff, gods be good), and we'll be back with a vengeance next year. Better yet, no-one will rate our chances.

Where is that money coming from to give joe Flacco that 'supporting cast'??

120M hello??

I been saying this since day 1 however, some are ok with paying Flacco 120m and yet want his supporting cast to play for free.

I just dont hate the Pats. I admire them for their smart play and precision. We could learn a lot from them.

I've given up on addressing those comments. I'm going to write an article/blog post about it, and just link that every time. Everyone makes the same tired accusations, and I reckon it's all crap. But correcting them never works because so many people make the same tired accusations.

The D didn't so great this season. How about last game against the Pats? Or Denver season opener?

yes please trade him to someone for there first round pick... ill take bridgewater... even if we get hit with a cap we can build around a qb that can do more than throw a deep ball.

Agree!

Flacco won several games for us this year . The whole team needs to be revamped because our D Cannot stop anyone late in the game either

well it doesn't matter what the defense does, you can't win if your offense can't score and the QB keeps turning the ball over

No to Indy. Not ever. Don't care who plays them, hope they never sniff another SB.

I could get behind the Chiefs. Don't think they've ever won one.

Chiefs have won one.  I wouldn't mind them getting another.

To be fair Tyrod gave up 2 TD's and made the score look worse than it really is. How about the D today, against the Packers, Jets, Bengals here in B-More.

I like your thinking... and I think we already have a Boldin-esque receiver in Marlon Brown. The kid could be GREAT.

I like Dickson... he can block pitta can not. Pitta will be back but even with him back I dont see Flacco getting better. The offense never looked good even with him the lineup. I dont think we make the playoffs again until we move on from Flacco. Other teams are getting better and bad money is falling off their books they had there dry spells and we may be hitting ours. It took a while after the first super bowl and may take awhile after the last. Watch out for the Browns they are a good qb away... they have a good defense and good wrs but but need a good qb. The steelers will always play hard and the Bengals are still young and have money.

I'm pretty sure we won sb last season as we didn't even get into the playoffs this season

This whole season was a wash, we didn't even get to open in out own city but rather on the road.

And that somehow impacted the Ravens season?

and some people make the same tired accusations in the other direction....  all out of frustration.  The man has won A LOT of games...  enough for 5 seasons into the playoffs, an AFC Championship win and a Super Bowl..  and I would honestly say that he has won 2 AFC games if you include the one that Evans drops in the endzone and Cundiff misses the FG....  He outplayed Manning and Brady last year....

It was 18-to-23 TD-to-INT, and it was in 2006.

Oh, I guess people would say he was injured that season after his motorcylce accident.
