Week 17 - Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals

3,605 posts in this topic

Hoping for the Chiefs, Colts or Chargers to win the AFC.

All the C teams.

No to Indy. Not ever. Don't care who plays them, hope they never sniff another SB.

I could get behind the Chiefs. Don't think they've ever won one.

I think we've scored the fewest amount TDs in franchise history, coupled with a HORRIBLE run game ... It's safe to so, it's at least one of the worst we've had.

Has to be.

This has got to be one of the most ineffective offenses we've ever had just as far as moving the chains. Then by the end of the year, that got combined with the inability to score in the redzone.

Would Bobby Rainey have helped our running game this year?? That was a head scatcher....Harbs thought Brandon Trawick was better

Nah, that line is beyond help.

Comparing him to Eli is one thing, comparing him to Peyton and Big Ben, far superior QBs, is another.

Yet he beat them both. Before. Just because he had a down season doesn't mean we discredit what he did before.

I keep telling the Flacco Haters' Club to name me just one QB who had to deal with everything, including losing their 2 main targets to injuries that had a successful season but the crickets just keep chirping.

Matt Ryan........oh wait, he didn't have both his starting wide receivers the entire year either.   What's the Falcon's record again?

Is it all Joe's fault? Not at all. Does Joe have a hand in it? Yeah, definitely.

I don't love Joe but I don't hate him. I think he's extremely above average, and I think we saw his ceiling in the superbowl. It was a high ceiling, but I don't see us getting there again. He needs a solid supporting cast, and he just doesn't have that this year. He can't bring up the play of others around him.

Quarterbacks don't beat other quarterbacks. They beat teams.

Stop. Rainey wouldn't have done squat behind the o-line.

Nah, The Caw will write a story about Joe buying a cheese tray at Krogers and we'll all be kissing the ground he walks on. This frustration will last a couple days at best.

maybe he will go to mcdonalds

He was good in Denver because he had a good cast around him. Baltimore has a lot of overpayed players who can't make a play

We tend to jump at flashes in the pan. I mean, we definitely lightened our wallets with Rice, Ngata, Suggs, Webb, and they're good, but not great. Same with Dumervil.
lol the same part of receivers that don't get separation, an OC that calls 2 running plays that gain a net of 1 yd when we're 2 scores down, garbage time, desperation mode INTs that mean nothing other than an opportunity for the haters to talk about INTs, a dismal running game all season. I keep telling the Flacco Haters' Club to name me just one QB who had to deal with everything, including losing their 2 main targets to injuries that had a successful season but the crickets just keep chirping. Not going to lie, if I'm Joe Flacco I'm going into that office and telling them if they don't fix the O line, trade me. Bunch of ungrateful fans on top of media crap, don't know why he stayed here.
I agree . Flacco won't last much longer in the NFL with this type of oline

One stat I want to look up.....  They call it a Super Bowl Hangover for a reason.....  How many teams have NOT made it to the playoffs the year after winning a Super Bowl....

It's a game thread - everyone's emotions are up. Don't take it too personally.

I'm not and your right. But I've seen the same posters react the same way after a win in the middle of the week.

Superbowl hangover isnt what causes your $120 Qb to throw 20+ ints.

Man please Flacco was bailed out by Ray Rice and the defense all year last year. He got hot for 4 games and you act like he is quarterback gold. He hasn't done anything except play in every game every year. There is just no one here now to make up for his mistakes. 22 ints really? And Jacoby Jones was the real MVP of superbowl 47

I wish we could ban people from posting when they've proven they know zero about football and/or this team.

That defense we had last year? You mean the one ranked down in the 20's? The one that allowed the most points EVER in the history of the NFL for a SB winning team in the post season? The defense that nearly allowed the 49ers to COMEBACK from a 28-6 deficit to win the game? Man, that defense didn't bail anyone out of anything.

Get outta here until you've studied up some.
