WR Brandon Stokely to retire after 15 seasons

He had a very nice career. His SB TD is something that will always stay in my mind.

Sad to see him retire, but its impressive that he was able to stick around and make plays in the NFL for so long.

Very-tough

It's his time.  He's had way too many concussions to continue playing.  It was good to see him back with us for the year, even if injuries kept him out most of the time.  He's always been a true class act and I wish him nothing but the best.

I wish him all the best.  I do believe if he had been healthy for us all season, we are sitting in a much nicer position right now in the conference.  I'm not saying he would have 1000 yards or 10 TDs, but he would have made several crucial third down plays for us to keep drives alive and lead to more scoring.  It's definitely nice he went out a Raven.

Brandon Stokely will always be remembered as a Raven.  He was a fearless receiver and a class act.   His TD pass catch in our first SB win was a thing of beauty. Best of luck to Brandon in all future endeavors.

He was a solid slot receiver it and im sure it hurt to go out the way  he did. I know it sounds silly but it would be cool if the ravens could hire him as a assistant  receiver coach

Stoke was a true football player and he is all class. He'll always hold a special place in my Ravens memories as he caught the TD pass that ended the Great TD Drought of 2000. It was his first catch of the season! You could just feel a collective sigh of relief in PSINet. Coincidentally, it was the bungles we crushed that day.

Best of luck to Brandon!

Stokely, arguably, is the reason we still have a hope to go to playoffs this season and had he been able to play more games, I'm sure we'd be talking seedings, not whether we'll make it or not.

I'm sure glad he suited up one more time as a Raven but for the sake of his future I really hope it wasn't one time too many.

Glad he went out with us. Wish he wasn't so injury prone, who knows what his career could've looked like. Wish him the best

Congrats to Brandon and the Stokely family. Started a Raven and ended a Raven. He's a really good WR and I hope we can convince him to stay on as a coach in some way. I think his route running ability would really help our WRs. He's definitely among my favorite Ravens WRs although the list is small, the quality is great, Mason, Q, Boldin and Stokely. I wish him the best of luck in whatever post football career he embarks on.

All class, good and smart player with lots of heart. I'm glad I got to see him play and I'm glad he retired with the team that gave him a ring. Here's hoping he stays on as a coach and gets another ;)

This was an under the radar signing, but I'm telling if Stokely is healthy all season, this offense is much better for it. He would have given us that chain moving and red zone presence with his route running. He would have allowed us to open things up because of his crafty route running in the middle of the field and once Pitta came back it would have looked a lot like last year's playoff offense.

Yeah. it's a shame Brandon couldn't stay healthy.  When we signed him I was drooling thinking about what he could bring to the Team.

At least 14 concussions in his career....didn't retire soon enough. Best of luck with his future Health.
