I am sorry, I hate to start one of these trendy threads before a big game, but I stumbled upon this statistic, and I thought it to be interesting.

Roethlisberger- 80.1 rating

Passing- 14 TDs/12 INT's 2616 yards and a percentage of 59.8
Rushing- 27 attempts 66 yards 2.4avg 2 TD's 9 Fumbles 4 lost
Receiving- 1 reception -7 yards

Flacco- 81.3

Passing- 13 TDs/10 INTs 2410 yards and a percentage of 60.2
Rushing- 47 attempts 171 yards 3.6avg 2 TDs 9 Fumbles 1 lost
Passing- 1 reception 43 yards

Anyway, this couldve been posted before but I didnt know that Flacco was having a better year than Big Jen. God I love Flacco.

Uh oh, talking about this season.. not talking about a 2004 Steelers team that had a good line, good receivers, and a good D that Berger had surrounding him. Flaccos done this with a young line, mediocre receivers, a rookie head coach, and he does have a good D.

All statistics beside overall record show Joe Flacco is having the better season.

Typical Steeler fan. They cant argue with whats going on NOW, so they bring up the past.

The last 8 games show Flacco as of lately, and to me that is all that matters for NOW. He has developed, and gotten over many of his rookie mistakes, such as a bulk of those interceptions.

ironcally most of the people who i talk about the ravens with are either steelers or colts fans. we dont get along all the time but we respect what each team has right now and we make sure to point out what were lacking LoL. my boy is always talking smack even if yall lose an he told me hes worried about playing us at home because we always play hard at home. i work in a call center and i sit beside steelers, colts and redskins fans. the colts fans say they are colts fan because they use to be our home team but i point out bmore is the only home team.

You'd be better to compare Flacco's rookie season to Ben's.

I can look up the actual stats later when I have time, but it's hard to argue with a 15-1 regular season and a Super Bowl championship.

Additionally, Ben has absolutely no running game this year and a terrible line.

I sure would hope you had a decent fan base considering you've been in the league for 75 years.. Is 5 superbowls REALLY that great for 75 years? but im not one to bring up the past. only the cowboys have been to more superbowls then us so yea its that great
