I reckon we can do it. I think the team may have been guilty of overlooking the Patriots today for several reasons, and we have everything to play for.

 

Again:

*Limit their defensive rotations.

*Cut out AJ Green (force Andy Lolton to make the plays).

 

Do both of those things, and we're always a legitimate shot. The Bengals will be high off their big win (and our big loss) and could be caught similarly underprepared. Meanwhile, I suspect the coaching staff has been eyeing this one since we beat them earlier in the season.

We would still need San Diego or Miami to lose. We own the tiebreak over Miami and we have a better conference record than San Diego. No one technically controls their destiny for the 6th spot.

Guys we all know that not a single team has ever bounced back from a bad loss and won the next week. It's not like we've done it every single year the last 6 years or something. We are DONE.

Better conference record!

Chargers have worse conf record than us. Miami has a better conf record but we win the tiebreaker with them. So if all 3 of finish 9-7, why dont we get that 6th spot?

Sorry, I just don't get it.
