We played like pooh, bad pooh. Move on and forget it.

LOL!  I think Goodell sent a memo to the ref crew that we had been getting a few breaks and it needed to stop.  Some really sketchy refereeing out there today.

The few "breaks" the Ravens got over the last few games doesn't even come close to evening out the controversial calls that drove them to losses.  I will never ignore the players failure to execute but officiating shenanigans have gone viral in maintstream sports coverage.  I agree, we must move on.  In doing so, I say we pocket the refs lol.  I'm not against Harbs, Newsome and Bisciotti resorting to underhanded tactics.  ESPN, CSN, NFLN will all pretend it didn't happen as long as we win lol.

Torrey has definitely regressed majorly. I honestly think Jacoby has been better. You think Torrey catches that pass on 3rd and 15 last week?

At this point #82 is highly suspect.

I'm also a little confused as to why we didn't use Doss more.  I'm not proclaiming him to be a savior by any means, but his one catch (which was negated by a penalty) showed exactly what we've been missing as of late.  A guy that isn't afraid to go up and make a catch over the middle.

To me it's not about proclaiming Doss to be the answer per se but "a" answer!  Meaning; he's a weapon that is on this roster that is getting very little usage!  We have all of these receivers; Torrey, Jacoby, Doss, Brown, Pitta, Dickson and Rice out of the backfield and yet; we throw very little screens, quick slants, ins, outs, drags and curl routes but we constantly feel the need to take deep shots down the field?  Those are hit and miss most of the times!  Then there is Leach!  Minimal to no usage lately!  And yet, we can't get the running game going?  Just a waste and improper use of team personnel!  Smh!

Fire the < profanity deleted>of every wide receiver on this roster.

Not really, but that entire position group is absolutely pathetic and borderline worthless. 1000 yard season aside, Torrey is <not nice>

The thing about these RBs.... they don't follow blocks well... I watched Rice and Pierce overrun the holes formed by the Oline many times![/quote]
Yeah, this too. The backs were horrid today. So many missed holes, yet again.

People complain abiut the Rice run up the middle when it seems he just chooses to go that way regardless of the play call.

Considering we've never developed a quality receiver, perhaps it's the (lack of) coaching.

Much of the refereeing this season throughout the NFL has been sketchy at best.  Some horrendous game changing calls have been made at several games.  It's one of the worse years for inconsistent calling.

It's funny we win 3 in a row and almost everyone raves that were righting the ship, that the O is going to break out for playoffs, that we're starting to click etc. And we get embarrassed today, now everyone sucks and fire everyone.

So I just wonder....

Does anyone think that Joe Flacco would suddenly perform better if you placed him on another NFL team with all other things being the same?

Because while everyone is here blaming the Ravens receivers... I actually really like the group oif receivers.  I think they are above average compared to the rest of the NFL.  If you took quote a few quarterbacks from around the league... I think they perform just fine with the Ravens current roster exactly how it is.

I can't say I feel the same way if Flacco were to be placed on quite a few of the current playoff teams.

And the guy obviously wasn't stepping into his throws today.  It was obvious in the first half, and if he is seriously THAT important to the team's success than you should have pulled him a lot sooner for 2 reasons"

1.  NExt week is a MUST win and perhaps one more week of rest would help his knee.

2.  After a quarter, it was obvious he just wasn't going to get anything done today.  He wasn't stepping into any of his throws and was a sitting duck back in the pocket.  He couldn't avoid any pressure, no matter how much time he had.  The Patriots knew this and just kept sending the dogs after him!  At the very least, Tyrod could have avoided taking sacks every 3rd down and perhaps the team wouldn't have been in a 3 touchdown hole.

This is more an indictment on Harbaugh's coaching than anything.  It's not Flacco's fault he's hurt.  It's cool you want to play through injury, but if you are the quarterback and you can't step into your throws then you are not really helping the team.  And if your coach can't realize that, maybe Flacco needs to tell him that.

Just beacuse they scraped by the Vikings and Lions.... I don't think any realistic person was excited about how the offense was playing.  Just last week they couldn't score ONE touchdown.  All field goals... and most of them from pretty far distance.

Offense has been pathetic all season.  There was nothing to priaise after a game like today.... except the defense.  Of course, people who look at final score and stats won't know this.  But the defense played very well.  One ridiculous pass interference, then a bunch of turnovers by the offense giving Patriots short fields or even points.

Once again, we all saw exactly why Flacco wasn't benched because of his injury. We had zero chance at a win with Tyrod in there today. We weren't just playing for a playoff berth but a chance to take the division.

If we had a competent back-up QB than I think they may have sat Flacco today. We all saw what we have and it isn't good.

Clearly though, it appears the injury is more serious than we were led to believe.

I was at the game today, and the WRs were not open all game, aside from a few plays against zone that Flacco missed. They just can't beat man coverage.

They're bad.

The bloody hell does that have to do with this loss?

Lmao. Today was one of those days... not looking good for us next week.

I'm not trying to defend them at this point, but from what I saw of the game, it probably didn't help that the Patriots could drop 8 into coverage and still pressure the quarterback. Of course, that might have changed in the second half.

They rushed four most of the time, and they actually blitzed a decent bit, but yeah, that's a different issue.

Oline held their own again, but I would have liked to see a better game from them. A lot of the pressure was a result of receivers not getting separation.

At this point why isn't Arthur brown playing in place of jameel McClain and why is pitta not seeing the field enough ?

Jameel McClain was not the problem today. Bynes was. So, why is Bynes in and not Brown?

Our receivers are definitely not above average. They can go deep but that's it.

As I've said before this has been a complaint for years. I'm wondering if it's coaching/scheme rather than our receivers. We really need to question our receivers coach at this point.

I would LOVE to see Derrick Mason come back as a receivers coach.

Time to find a real backup QB.

I totally agree with this. I don't want to hear anymore of the idiots wanting Tyrod to start. He is the worst back up of all time and should be sent packing next year.
