I don't even think those penalties were poor discipline. When I saw that PI on Jimmy, I was stumped as to what he could have done differently on that play. The guy changed his route to step in front of him and they predictably collided. I genuinely don't know what Jimmy could have done on that play and that's why I got upset by the call.

Anyway, I do agree with you. The offence needs some big changes and if Ozzie wasn't already planning to conjure something, I'd say he is now. Remember how bad we felt after THAT Cundiff miss? And how it quickly caused us to find our franchise kicker? I reckon we'll see the same thing here.

On the PI in the endzone, it looked to me like Jimmy had a hand on his side and kept him from adjusting to the pass. I haven't really thought about it since that play, so I might be mistaken, though.

why why why why!!! why would you get my hopes up thinking we could have a chance this year and then rip it all away!! usually optimistic, but i doubt we pull a w out in cinci..

More like the Ravens will win next week with their best game of the year, and SD and Miami will both win.

Run game coordinator needs to go! OC ask for a run play and obvi Castillo picks ones.

Run game coordinator undermines the OC. What good is it?

I saw what can happen in the Vikings game in 2 minutes

You heard the announcers today constantly questioning or play call, and i can't blame them. You see how easy the patriots dial up plays for 2 or 3 yards, and the ravens just DONT have that ability in there play calling.

The Vikings defense is trash and the game never should've been close.

Best Scenario in the long run.

Not being able to beat a decimated NE team, at home, I cannot see how we can win in Cinci. Not that it matters, since in order to get a playoff spot some weird convoluted chain of events must occur. Our luck is not that good.

That's what disappointed me the most. The Pats basically playing backups everywhere, on top of the fact this year's NE team is probably the worst of the last decade... Really thought the Ravens would destroy them at home...

Ravens are saving their offensive explosion for the Bengals.

Go Ravens

I've been calling for a fair few offensive explosions.

I think we win, but I don't see us putting 44 points on them again. 30 would be optimistic.

Theres no reason to even try to beat Cincinnati. Our Offense has been absolutely anemic. It can't crack an egg and can't go anywhere in the playoffs that way.  Whats the use of getting there.

I want to draft a little better. lets finish 8-8

Joe is done this year he needs to regroup.  It just wasnt his year and nothing is changing that at this juncture.

Draft well....rebuild

Cincy has nothing to play for....I expect a rollover.

I lost a lot of hair and likely a few hours from my life today. My whole week goes to crap if the Ravens lose. But do you think maybe this season is a blessing in disguise?

Ozzie always seems to knock it out of the park picking below 20 (obvious exceptions Taylor and Boller).

Probably going to get negged til I have to leave the forum but I am just throwing it out there, we need the chance to draft that next immediate super star...

It is what it is!  I'm done "trying" to find something positive to say about this team when time after time after time; when they have the opportunity to further improve their position in the playoff hunt and race...they fail! They struggle with scoring TD's.  They can't get a 4th&1 and the defense can't stop the run or big junks through the air to save their lives.  So this is how they play....after I was defending them tooth and nail with a cat on my facebook page.  He said Flacco was actually "Fluko".  He said that the Ravens win last week vs. the Lions was a fluke and a joke!  He said that they couldn't even score 1 TD.  And once again today..they struggled to get their 1st TD in 7 quarters.  Now, I gotta get back on facebook and face this cat!  Embarrassing!!!!  SMH!!!

Cinci can still get the 2 seed if New England loses. They have a lot to play for.

I agree. Last year our only issue was protection. This year its the entire offense. Ozzie needs to make this draft a game changer..ie no more elams or mark claytons

I could've sworn I heard that Cinci needs a win for a 1st round bye.

But Wasn't that based on a pats loss?

What baffles me is why the ravens never run those pick plays like ne, trips sets etc? The ravens lost to amendola and edelman

Ihedibgo showed why he shouldn't be back , he has been over performing all year and really should just be a back up/ 3rd safety

Caldwell situational playcalling was iffy. Especially on 3rd and short. Run it there if our plan is to go for it on 4th anyway. But no we go for a deep shot. Speaking of deep, what's with all the long developing plays and lack of a short passing game when we know Joes is hurt.
