Blow it up and rebuild. Seriously. We got our SB and we aren't going anywhere with this talent. After so many high draft picks were talent starved.

Endure this loss Raven Nation. Accept it.

This will fire up our players for next week. 7 game winning streak heading into playoffs would be scary. Let's just fall butt backwards into the playoffs and do our thing. It's a different story when we get in there.

Let's just hope we can get into it.... I'm confident we can. We've been in this situation before. Not exact but pretty close.

Remember, we're still the CHAMPS. We can do this.

...Personally I don't think we were mentally prepared for this game. And say what you want about NE but they're always a tough task.

Tough loss to take but remember Denver and Houston with bigger stakes at risk? If Flacco's leg heals we're still in it.

Go Ravens

It would be easier to make a list of things that went right.

*Marlon Brown had a nice game especially near the end (arguably garbage time, but).

*Defence isn't as bad as advertised imo. The TDs game from drives extended by weak penalties. The other thing is that you could tell the Patriots were angry this week. This was revenge for the AFCCG and they wanted to bounce back after being doubted. Give them some credit, and I think the defence could have done worse under the circumstances.

*One more week of Michael Oher.

*Wholesale improvements on offence for next season. :D Ozzie looked serious in the shot of him that CBS showed.

Even Justin Tucker missed a gimmie. One of those days really, what can you say.

Go Ravens

This is a real low, but things can't get any worse next week. Hopefully the pundits will jump off our bandwagon this week, and we know what happens when people write us off.

This loss makes us stronger. It hurts our chances but this is what makes teams get mad and inspired.

i had a terrible feeling all week about this game, seriously. The pundits were hyping us up way too much, and I think that reflected in the players. Sloppy and relaxed would be how I described a lot of the play, mostly by the offense. Why is it that we go scoreless and can't get a rhythm for 3 1/2 quarters but suddenly they look completely in sync? That was putrid on the part of them, although Joe was understandably effected by his knee. No excuse for anyone else.

The defense was the only part of the team that decided to play today. They only really gave up one good drive in the first half. The rest of the Pat's first half points came off of two penalties for undisciplined play that can be corrected. In the second half, the Pats were shut out until the final 3 minutes.

If the offense was anywhere near acceptable, this would have been a win.

I don't even think those penalties were poor discipline. When I saw that PI on Jimmy, I was stumped as to what he could have done differently on that play. The guy changed his route to step in front of him and they predictably collided. I genuinely don't know what Jimmy could have done on that play and that's why I got upset by the call.

Anyway, I do agree with you. The offence needs some big changes and if Ozzie wasn't already planning to conjure something, I'd say he is now. Remember how bad we felt after THAT Cundiff miss? And how it quickly caused us to find our franchise kicker? I reckon we'll see the same thing here.

I'm really upset with Joe in this game. I'm not putting all the blame on him because there is a lot of blame to go around on offense and I know he had a brace on his knee. Joe made some questionable decisions and throws. Just wasn't our day. Also QB sneaks are an option on 4th and 1 Caldwell; Joe's 6'6'' for god's sake. >:(

Find a real OC and an actual Backup QB.

Lol, blame it on everyone but the man that needs to take the blame the most. Now, Caldwell is not a good OC b/c Flacco is playing bad I assume but you didn't hear this during Flacco's amazing stretch last season.

Has there been a plan on Offense this year?

I see plenty of talent......

Yet little in sustained drives, methodical play calling rhythm, Red Zone ineffectiveness, in game adjustments, 3rd down play calling is horrendous.

Yes, the excuses are Oline injuries, RB injuries, loos of talent from last year. I don't care about that. You design plays to get the ball out of Joes hand quicker. That is the problem. Too many times in 3rd and short situations, we are looking for the bomb 20+ yards down the field instead of getting the 2-3 yards we need to move the chains. So we hold the ball waiting for the deep route to open up and 90% of the time we punt or worse a pick.

No huddle, sugar huddle, tempo and rhythm are lacking. So is the OC. Time for another.

What a complete and total embarrassment for the Ravens organization.  Seriously, no one did their job tonight, it was a top to bottom failure of the players and coaches.

You didn't hear it because the execution was incredible. Its very clear that he isn't worthy of being an OC.

Not being able to beat a decimated NE team, at home, I cannot see how we can win in Cinci. Not that it matters, since in order to get a playoff spot some weird convoluted chain of events must occur. Our luck is not that good.

On the PI in the endzone, it looked to me like Jimmy had a hand on his side and kept him from adjusting to the pass. I haven't really thought about it since that play, so I might be mistaken, though.

A QB coach wouldn't hurt either. Flacco has been widely inconsistent this season.
