Week 16 - Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots

Just tank and get a slightly better draft pick.  If we can't beat the NE and Detroit secondary we won't be able to beat the Seahawks, and I'd rather not make it than stop being the only organization not to have lost a Super Bowl while winning multiple ones.

I thought they played a good game today. Golly gee williker, I just wish we could've scored a few more points. Those darn Pats and Brady.

even if we win the season still might be over. We need help.

Well, I know we are limping along at this point.  But even if we go 1-and-done in the playoffs, I would love to see us take down that slob Roethlisberger one last time this season.  Oh how sweet that would be.

Yup, reload, come back and reclaim what is rightfully ours from the Ginger and his Bungles.

Yeah poor Tyrod was cast into a pool of sharks.

That's right, and don't you forget that. This is the same pool of sharks that Flacco went against took us to the ultimate prize

Start Tyrod!!

Really? we are talking about a Qb with more picks then touchdowns.  After 15 games.  Please stop acting like this man has been great all year.

See my post above.

Apologies, I got worried.  My mistake.

Good night to be a bar owner in Charm City, I imagine.

It will most likely be the Dolphins winning which officially eliminates us.

When Harbaugh put Tyrod in it was too late.  By that time it was 27-7 if memory serves.  Tyrod made a couple large mistakes trying to make plays from an untenable situation, but your point is understood.

I'm fatigued with Joe Flacco.  I don't think he served us as a 120 million dollar man should have and he needs to give back about 30 million and free up some money for others we need to sign. He should willingly do it, because he has proven this year he can't take over a game. He's not that type of QB

Still not a losing season so I wouldn't exactly call it pathetic

I know, right?  There's a lot to be grateful for...we have a rising star in Matt Elam; we got Webbie back; Daryl Smith fits in very well as a Ravens LB; Jimmy Smith is really shaping up; our kicker is a total stud; Marlon Brown made a HUGE showing in the short time he's played; the o-line is getting its trial by fire; and Ray Rice & Jacoby are apparently not totally wrecked despite potentially serious injuries.  There was talk in September that Dennis Pitta's injury could be career-ending.  CAREER-ENDING.  And he's back, making an impact.  We had some serious adversity, but some silver linings, too.

Impossible in 2013 - if we make it, they're eliminated...

lol.  Flacco is not "elite" but Cincy proved you don't need an elite QB to win the division and secure a playoff spot.  I don't think it's all on him.

lol.  Thanks for clearing that up.  I don't try to figure out the playoff scenarios and if I look like a football idiot b/c of it I don't care.

I will do that when people stop with the Tyrod nonsense. Fair?

This is one of the most embarrassing losses I can remember.  I mean that Jags loss a few years ago was bad, but this Pats team sucks too.  Their defense is horrible and without Gronk their offense sucks.  There is no excuse for what happened on that field today.  Complete, utter, total, unequivocal failure by the coaches and players.  Pathetic is spelled R-A-V-E-N-S today.  No one did their job well.

Yep, they beat NO, Denver and Ravens, hung 55 on the Steelers,  won the East, clinched playoff berth and most likely a first round bye......all with several pro-bowlers out for season.....but you are right, they suck..... :surrender:

He has proven that, many many many times. This year included. Did we not just win a SB with him?
And yes of course, it is a team sport. If we want to get Flacco the weapons that this team needs, then we should look into trimming fat somewhere...or heck, spend a couple high draft picks on OL. Have faith in this FO man, they always do us right.

For real.  Let's make the division remember the Dalton and Bengals we all know and love.

No our starter is playing bad. Are you one of those guys that is mad that Pierce is stealing touches from Rice?  Qb is the same thing, if one is playing poorly it's time to play the backup.

Not really the same but you get it.

5 picks in Buffalo and the backup cant get reps?  Bad coaching.

Well said.  One of the things I like about this franchise is the way the FO pulls together.  If you know the history, you know that they came from nothing.  All this talk about not getting respect, and facing adversity, is not just talk.  From the day Art Modell brought it to Baltimore, this team has fought uphill.  They have my total NFL loyalty, come what may.

Tyrod has zero passing TD's and two picks for his career.

I have nothing against Tyrod but would not like seeing him start next week or after.  He is not a back-up with serious potential starter upside.  He is not a Nick Foles or Kirk Cousins.

No not at all.

He is a back up for a reason.

Flacco is a starter for a reason.

Flacco is better than Tyrod.
