Patriots CB Devin McCourty hates the Ravens : )

Confession: I considered the Ravens too beneath us to constitute a rivalry until our back to back AFC Championships with the replacement official debauckle in between.

Confession:  The patriots haven't been the same since spy gate!  lol!

Let's be honest here man!  If there is one team that the Patriots don't want to see in the playoffs it's the Ravens!  We know it and you guys know it!  That's why your player is mentioning finishing them!  The Ravens are on your minds and have been for some time now.  Good!  You also mentioned the replacement refs as though they caused you guys to lose a game to the Ravens.  Smh!  What about the Lee Evans drop?  What about the Cundiff missed FG?  You left those out!  Bottom line, the Patriots are in serious trouble when they face the Baltimore Ravens in M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday.

I'll bulletpoint it

1. No, would rather not see you in the play offs, because you're the only team that really stiffles our offense. It's been that way forever. Even in 2007 when we were probably the greatest offense of all time, the Ravens played us really tough in a game where we had to claw for every single yard. It's honestly kind of frustrating. Even more so when Flacco can just throw lollipops in the air for Bolden to grab at will after we had to scratch our way to every score.

2. We won the AFC Championship. Winning by a little doesn't mean you deserved to lose, and losing by a little doesn't mean you deserved to win. Also, that FG you guys missed would of only tied the football game - it wouldn't of won it.

3. We got absolutely hosed last year in that regular season game. Some of the phantom PI's were so mind boggling that Chris Collinsworth started apologizing all through out the 3rd quarter. Doesn't matter though because you beat us decisively in the AFC Championship.

And I'm sure Baltimore is just gushing with love for the New England Patriots.

We know this!!

We know this as well!  The game could have continued but that missed FG sealed the victory for you!

Every team gets robbed!  Like we did last week when Flacco took a hit to the leg and there was no call!  It happens!  And our win was pretty convincing in the AFC Championship game last season but also our Superbowl run with Joe Flacco dropping; Luck, Manning, Brady and Kaepernick in the process!

This should be a great game!  Best of luck to you guys and of course; I'm hoping for a Ravens win!

We need this one bad. I think this is going to be a break out game for Tom Brady against you... finally!

I hope so anyway.

Good luck with that facing the #9 defense...at home....in Baltimore!  lol!  On the flip side; I'm expecting and anticipating that our running game breaks out all over the patriots on Sunday.  They are waaaaay over due for a big game...this may be it!

i don't see how the patriots actually NEED this more than we do.  i mean, don't they have the afc east pretty much sealed and are now just playing for seeding?  (are the dolphins that close?).

we're playing for wildcard and (possibly) division if the vikings can beat the bengals.

Back to how well the Ravens play us, I do have to give Baltimore a LOT of credit here.

I don't know how well you guys understand this, since you yourselves don't ever have to see it, but Tom Brady is dangerous. He usually makes other teams just look flat out stupid. He turns them into trash. The Steelers, for example, always had one of those defenses everyone feared, but Brady always made them look foolish, always put up 35+ points against them, etc.

He does this to everybody.

Just not you.

Hard to understand.

Anyway, gonna' miss Ray Lewis yelling on the sidelines this time, "It's a chess match! We're playing Brady! It's a chess match!"

Dolphins could still take the AFC East. We can lock it with a win against you, though, and we're going to need the #2 seed for the play offs, which we also hold with a win against you.

We're way too injured for me to be confident about the play offs without homefield and with an extra game.

We really, really need this. With it, we're a legitimate contender (somehow, someway), and without it, well, my confidence in making it to the Superbowl drops significantly.

This game is our season.

wow, so much at stake for both teams it's amazing this matchup was flexed out of sunday night...i'll always hate the steelers more than the patriots.  i can at least RESPECT Bill and Tom, (even if i don't LIKE them).

So sorry to hear that.  :D

Me thinks there is a major butt whoopin' coming for tommy and the patsies.

Understand that I wouldn't have felt the need to reply if you didn't have that sissy's pic as your sig.

I hear what you're saying, but no it isn't. If you were that worried about the #2 seed, last week's game was your season.

You guys can lose and still bey fine.  Meanwhile the playoffs have already started for the Ravens two weeks ago.  We have much more riding on this game than the Pats.

I actually liked hearing this from McCourty. Baltimore-New England has easily become the best rivalry in football over the last several years, Nothing will ever replace Baltimore-Pittsburgh as "THE" rivalry game for us, but this is probably the game I look forward to the most every year.

I still can't believe we got bumped for Philadelphia-Chicago, which may have no real significance if the early games play out a certain way. It makes a little more sense after hearing that the league wanted to repay CBS for taking away the Denver-KC game, but still. With this bulletin-board material from McCourty, or without, the matchup that's represented the AFC for both of the last two years deserves to be in primetime.

I guess McCourty figured that he can be outspoken about us like Suggs is outspoken about Brady and them. That is fine, if he wants to get us fired up to destroy them, then it is on him when we do.

He's just salty that we keep beating them.  Still not over that loss in the AFC Championship game when we cruised over them.

Even thought that was payback for the year before

GOAT.

Deal.

haha. GOAT whiner.  There's many QBs that you could say hold that honor, but tommy isn't one of them. But I can understand a patsies fan buying into the false media hype.

I like that word. Adding to vocabulary box.

Exactly HOW are you adding that to your vocabulary box?

There's been a rivalry ever since Boller almost spoiled your precious perfect season. And if I remember correctly we DEMOLISHED you guys wild card weekend of the playoffs in 2009. Oh how easy you forget.

Man, when you think back to the AFCCG, really makes you wish we had Pollard and Boldin back for just one game.  I know the "wish we still had Boldin" is old news, but that was one amazing game he had.  Boldin's TD's and Pollard's hit on Ridley were just hammer blows that totally upended an otherwise competitive game in which we were trailing after a sluggish first half.

Losing Talib to injury also didn't help them; I know he had his personal and injury issues but what were the Bucs thinking giving him away for peanuts?
