heh i like that, that was some serious complements from fans who hate this team.. they called us the turds? i've heard ratbirds but turds? thats not clever.

They kinda sound like us last year with the worlds most predictable offense and blah blah

I think it will be a great game. Very physical on both sides of the ball. Most Steelers fans know how to display the respect. Good luck 23-10 steelers

Im not writing them off at all. They still have dangerous recievers and it isnt much of a secret the teams dont really like eachother and im sure they would love to burn our corners..I dont see how people can say Steelers-Browns is a bigger rivalry nowadays when everyone knows how this game will get

I gotta admit, I'm a little surprised, too!

I mean, I expect the Ravens to win big, but I never thought half the Steeler fans would be so pessimistic about the game!

Agreed, No way Steelers Browns is bigger. Maybe more history, but not bigger. This is always the game I look forward too. Two teams that you know are playing for keeps. Always a good game, except for the year you guys sacked Ben 9 times and skunked us. Of course I am hoping for payback Sunday on that one :). Good Luck 23-10 steelers

About the Steelers/Browns thing, don't both teams have to win once in a while to make it a rivalry?

Have the Browns ever beaten the Steelers since they came back in to the league in '99?

OK, I thought I saw a stat somewhere that Big Ben was undefeated against both Cleveland & Cincy!

That's why I was curious if they ever had beaten Pitt.

That stat is correct. Ben is undefeated against the Browns since their last win was in 03. He came into the league during the 2004 draft. Rookie of the year in 05

Half the Steelers fans are not pessimistic about this game. You saw 6 pages of comments and that does not register as half of all Steelers fans. We give the Ravens credit and respect for what they can do, but we also know what the Steelers can do as well. We are not scared of the Ravens, but we do respect them, and we know it will be one tough football game. Its going to be a 15 round heavy weight fight and it will not be a knockout! As of right now, the Ravens are playing catch up and they know it. I will not say good luck, but I will say that I look forward to watching this game and seeing the two best defenses in all of football do battle!

wow nice link. i read the whole thing and they sound exactly like we did the past few years.. im surprised more of them arent worried about big ben and their oline. i think that is the key to the game because their oline is garbage and big ben has been playin like garbage lately

I would hope not! That link really surprised me to the point I almost felt sorry for them. I think they were ragging on their offense this year more than us for the last 10!! After going through the Billick era I can totally empathize with pathetic offenses! I just didn't consider the Steelers to have one!

of coarse they are Steely just got wacked:

Seriously a large portion of that is just rational fans being realistic. They can lose this game very easily.

Oh No! Not Steely!

FYI: Your picture looks like a Raven taking advantage of a disadvantaged Steelers fan. If you catch my drift.

lol, clever.

Steely McBeam = worst mascot idea ever. Well...there's probably worse, but Steely's the most blatantly unnecessary one out of them all. And lots of Steelers fans don't even like him.

True That! I always thought he looked like Cower with that Chin. We don't need a mascot. At one time we had a terrible towel mascot too. Crazy man, crazy. Good luck Sunday 23-10 Steelers

Yea a towel mascot would be wierd. Plus it would remind me too much of Towely from Southpark, "you wanna get high?"

If Towelie was the Steelers' mascot, I might actually not have a problem with the Steelers!...

...wait, no, that was a lie. Sorry.

(J/k, it's all in good fun) :P

But they'd change his color to gold. Technically, he wouldn't be the same towlie we all grew to love.

DONT give towlie to the Steelers.

They want to use him for evil.

lol...

I agree, this will be a very physical game. It's in our HOUSE so I suggest you reverse your score predication 23 - 10 RAVENS.
