Joe Flacco's Knee

227 posts in this topic

Need Monroe and Oher to step up vs. Chandler Jones and Rob Ninkovich, big time.  Joe Vellano from Maryland also hasn't been too shabby on the inside.  Worried about Flacco being shaky planting and the limitation of rollouts and scrambles which have become an increasing part of Joe's arsennel.

Need the entire O-line to ball out from here on out.

If Flacco has any painful aggravation with his knee tomorrow I really hope we make the right move. ... He's going to have to run on it and he's going to get hit. It's inevitable.

Not to keep running off topic but its 11:30 at night and its 66 degrees out side in Millersville Maryland, which is more or less midway between Baltimore and Annapolis.

nothing ever stays on topic. So back to topic... in this game we should stay lined up in shotgun and use a lot of quick slants with the slot and torrey or jones over the top with deep posts and streaks and pitta dickson or clark running in the open seem. Plus rice can chip off the ends and roll into the flats.

where are you at... because weather.com has baltimore in 60f... and on sunday the 70s. http://m.weather.com/weather/tomorrow/USMD0018

But like I said don't live in Baltimore just going on what the Ravens website was saying in their predictions video and what the weather.com says.

I guess I should have specified, but Im in the prairies in Canada lol, so its always -30/-40 at this time of year, I just can't believe Maryland is that warm right now.

It was freezing cold a few days ago then all of a sudden it was warm even at night time. I actually walked up a sweat yesterday because of the layers I had on.

And on topic, I think the run game has to get going vs this awful Pats run defense to take pressure and workload off of Joe Flacco. He won't be scrambling 12 yards for first downs today when no one can get open. We need plenty of 3rd and short this game so Bernard Pierce has to be stellar. The weather is good for Flacco at the moment.

I don't think a wet field is good for a QB with a stiff, sore knee.

Yeah but it's definitely better than snow and ice. And 70 has to be a lot better than 30.

He'll be fine. The Flacco laughs at pain.  :D

Speak for yourself. This prairie boy is going through a Chinook right now. Just about 0'c.

Crazy stuff!  I'm just a little south of you and my wood stove generally stays fired up December through February. I like it!

we need to make the right move, after that Detroit game Flacco was totally not the same.  I hope that knee is not bugging up all that bad or we are not making the playoffs..

I just hope he actually hurt it during the Denver game and no one knew....ha. If the knee is the excuse we're using at this time I mean.

Joe throws passes to himself, at times picks up the LB that blows up Gino in the Agap and then literally sends the ball into orbit, just so he has time to sprint under it.

I would love to see him out throw a receiver and let one of our burners sprint under it. That would be killer. Im a tweener, but these Flacco excuses are killing me.

Your grammar needs to be corrected. You use the word burners (plural) in your post. I'm aware of one speed burner who can catch the ball consistently. His name is Torrey Smith. Take him out of the game as so many of our opponent's D coordinators did and who do you go to next. Surely, you're not suggesting that our "burners" are comparable to AJ Green, Brandon Marshall, Jeffries, Calvin Johnson, Michael Crabtree, Dez Bryant or the like? If you are, wake up and smell the roses. Joe's best weapon this year is goin to the Pro Bowl and he's a kicker. That's never good!

And that burner ranked second in the league in dropped passes. Sorry for the "excuse" guys, I realize that somehow Flacco is to blame for that, and will admonish him promptly when I figure out how to spin it as such.
