Vent thread: Lions

As much as I loved seeing Tucker save us in this game, we have to see a lot more from the offense. Defense played well for the most part, but looked awful on that late Lions drive.

I am a huge Flacco supporter. He was sharp today, but also missed some throws. That said - he did enough for a W. (Ball security matters a lot now.)

Ray Rice - Classy. Really could've used those stats but what a classy move to go down.

Over all I counted that all blown or bad calls balanced out on both sides (3 per team.)

Celebrate for 24 hours, and prepare for the (beatable) Pats. GET IT.

I'll give credit to Fauria for his clutch catch late. DET shouldn't have abandoned the run, though.

That catch was a tough catch. I was surprised he came down with it.  I didn't like the defensive play-calling there.

The coaching on the Lions is bad.  They always think pass is the answer.  Two big third and shorts and one of them they go empty backfield.  Horrible calls.

Props to Elam. I was hard on him, but he backed his talk up.

What a game to step up to the challenge! To paraphrase Muhammad Ali, "It ain't bragging if you can back it up."

  1. Justin Tucker... 'nuff said!
  2. Joe Flacco, once again, showed how tough he is by being able to walk-off what looked to be a MCL (or even ACL, in most cases) injury.
  3. It would be nice if the offense could score at least one touchdown.
  4. The Ravens still won!
  5. ESPN still sucks, like always!
  6. ?????
  7. Profit?

I'll give credit to Fauria for his clutch catch late.

While that is true, (Christian and) Joseph Fauria still owe(s) me money for using my name without my permission...

I'm not blaming this one on us.

As a UCLA fan, IK for a fact that Faruia is virtually impossible to cover because he's HUGE.

If I'm mad about anything it's that WE DIDN'T SCORE A FREAKING TD

I think for Christmas I'll be asking for a new heart.. surely mine has aged at least a decade or two this season.
One needs to be cleared of all prior medical conditions in order to ensure that you're able to watch a Ravens game in its entirety.
Also, Tucker.. no amount of words can describe my joy. Just.. just stunned in the best way possible.

AEDs should be mandatory for Ravens fans lol

My only venting.... NFL needs to stop playing favorites. If any QB gets hit below, it's a flag. Not a pick and choose based on if their Brady or Manning.

Vent Over........

As much as I love Tucker and am thrilled that he made that kick.....

Your not lieing! Man, even I felt the pucker factor on that one! Hats off to Tucker!

Hope Flaccos ok. Get better and tighten up on that arm, try to check the WHOLE feild before you fall back on yard-age, you missed a few of your guys tonight.

What in god's name were we thinking on that series? How are you going to bank on a 61 yard field goal when you don't necessarily have to? What the heck man?

Dear Ravens,

Thank you, thank you very much.

Sincerely, Bears Nation

No problem.  I'm on board with the Bears.

I thought the calls went both ways.  The refs made a lot of errors.  The low hit was big.  But so was the hand bar by Webb in the endzone.

Is 61 yards a Baltimore FG. record? Can't think of one longer in our history, Tucker rules!

Yes it is!

Yep.  He actually broke his own record.  He held the prior one @ 56 on 9/6/12.  Wade Richey also kicked a 56 yarder for us back in 2003.
