I'm just wondering if we could luck out like the Phins and have Dobson and Thompkins on the sideline... Edelman needs to be hit... and hit HARD! Even his hair annoys me!

Belichik is famous for "neutralizing" the opponent's best player. lol. How do you "neutralize" a clutch kicker who can't be iced, intimidated, or rushed into missing field goals?

You try Nd do what Pittsburgh did.... and crush his skull.. lol.

My biggest concern is Julian Edelman, but other than him, I really think we match up really really well with the Pats... that, and Joe's outplayed Brady the past 3 or 4 times they've played each other.

Webb is the antidote for guys like Edelman.
I am more worried about Talib erasing Torrey

Not Concerned- Suggs breaks his drought sunday Brady is probably sleeping less this week,  he keeps seeing 55

I know, right?  The last thing Brady wants to see is the Ravens D.  Sizzle, Haloti, Doom, and Daryl Smith are having a rent-free party in that guy's head from now until 0:00 Q4 on December 22nd, 2013.

We match up well against the Pats. The key to the Pats is shut the middle of the field down with either Brown or Smith, those quick slants Brady loves.

even butter fingers Dickson can make plays ever since Pitta's return, so if they are shutting down Torrey, there are other guys emerging to score....

“@ESPNStatsInfo: Tom Brady has 6 TD passes and 9 INT in 6 head-to-head matchups with Joe Flacco (including playoffs). Flacco has 12 TD passes and 4 INT”

Wonder if NBC still thinks we're not good enough for primetime... Yeah they probably do, but we're used to that. And it's their loss anyway.

I think they were counting on a Ravens loss in Detroit.

Could we at least blowout the Pats ? I'm gonna need a pacemaker after this season.

That's a negative.  Get ready for another whoever-has-the-ball-last-can-win-the-game type of game.

Yes it wouldn't hurt to blow one team out.. I certainly wouldn't be mad

I said we would lose versus Lions or Pats, I thought it would be Lions. Pats coming off a loss? Rarely do they have a streak of losing 2 in a row...

It's at home, their run D is bad. I see this fittingly coming down to a FG.

That's because they rarely have to play us after a loss

We beat them last year when they were coming off a loss.

I don't know if you're being serious, but there is a very distinct possibility that this game will be completely meaningless.  It could be like a preseason game if early games go a certain way because both teams would be guaranteed to play in a win-or-go-home game in Week 17 no matter the outcome of this game.

And rarely has the Patriots looked this bad in past seasons.  They are a very soft #2 seed.  They are missing two many key players.  Streaks are meant to be broken.  The Ravens time and again have proven this.

Like I stated above, I'm pretty sure we beat them last year when they were coming off a loss.

And you would be correct.  So no streak to be broken.  They got manhandled by the Cards then came to B-More and lost to Tucker's kick (surprised?).

All week 16 games no matter when played will have a impact on playoffs, so yes they will mean something at 1 pm and 8:30 pm.

The question is though, will it have any impact on the teams that are playing? We'll see because it certainly could mean nothing to the Eagles or Bears if early games go a certain way.

The media is starting to get on our bandwagon. I don't like it.

Ironically, I don't like too......we play better where chip on our shoulders...

I could care less. The media blows with the wind. You win a few games they are like 'hey look at them'. Media doesn't make or break us no matter what our fans think.

What does make this team play better is having their backs against the wall.

Oddly enough, this is when the media is most down on you. That's why it SEEMS we play better when the media is against us.

We may be catching the Patriots at a good time. We are on a roll, we are making teams nervous, we are at The Bank, and the Patriots are feeling the pressure.
