Hilarious that the pats dont scare me one bit. For the weirdos that think it matters what a fan thinks, calm down. We're (as a team) preparing for a nasty game.

It really is. I think this is the most confident I've ever felt playing against the Patriots. There team just isn't scary at all and the game is at home.

Same. Earlier in the year I didn't have much confidence because of our departures. But they're a completely different team. The players we had (besides Joe,Pitta & Rice) all owned the pats and were key to beating them. All the injuries they had were to players who have owned us. Plus no Hernandez or Gronk, at the BANK.

I might be too confident.

Anyone want to see us put Juice into the same type of role Charles Clay plays for Miami?  That guy has been money this year, including against NE and Cincy.

Not afraid at all. We are getting hot. And NEs D is hurt and terrible to begin with.

Watch out for Chandler Jones, but I'm not afraid of anyone else....

And Jimmy Smith neutralized Megatron, didn't stop him but kept him out of the end zone.

What's Amendola or Edelman going to do to him?

Not afraid

Would love to see Juice play but he is nowhere near the athlete Clay is.

This game should be a huge confidence booster for the Ravens secondary. Also even though Joe was getting hammered and got nicked up the oline blocked a little better and the Lions front is much better then NEs so we should handle them well.

The biggest thing in this game is the offense scoring TDs. The Lions have one of thy best redzone defenses in the NFL and it showed. But for the most part we beat ourselves down there. We gotta find a way to turn those FGs into TDs, because you don't want the ball in Brady's hand at the end of the game with a chance for a bogus call.

Once again Flacco will outplay Brady, or should I say the team will outplay Brady. We're flawed but so are they. Tonight we put the NFL on notice that the Champs are fighters. Next week we serve notice that we are once again Super Bowl contenders.

I was more worried about the Lions game. I see us winning this one at home with out much drama (bold prediction for a Ravens game I know)

Injury List :

Nate Solder
Vince Wilfork
Tommy Kelly
Jerrod Mayo
Rob Gronkowski
Adrian Wilson

We have many key injuries, and not a chance in hell.

The old reverse psychology trick, huh?  Well, it won't matter if we can't get more than a one score lead late.  Our defense couldn't stop Matt Cassel or Josh Campbell when we needed to, so Brady should be able to lead his team of no-names down at the end if need be.  We need to build a sizable advantage early on to take this.

Not so fast, even if we have the lead late there better be 0.01 seconds left on the ravens 20 for the ravens to comeback because our dirreah defense will play the role of speed bumps and give you the late win.

Score a freaking touchdown.

Atleast we are getting better at moving up the field, but I do agree that it will get hard for us to make the playoffs just with FG. Stafford is no Tom Brady and AJ Green might not help us out the way Calvin Johnson did on MNF.

Lets not get cocky here. Sure the patriots team doesnt look as scary as it has imn the past but we need to be better in the red zone. Tom brady can put up points vs anyone.

Hopefuly we can win and the vikings do us a favor.

As much as my gut instincts tell me to to worry about this game, idk.

I have a feeling that a few things will play into a big ((hopefully)) win over the Pats. That comes down to the fact that the players will be jacked up from a road win over a top team. You then count home field. You then count the possibility of a division crown within reach. You then count the Pats significant injuries, which leads to the final point, their borderline awful defense. Ray Rice is getting back to form and I strongly believe this game will be a stepping stone into more of his typical elite performances.

I simply feel they have too many key injuries to beat us.

Plus have you seen that Jimmy Smith guy on our defense? He's pretty good at football

The Wilfork-less Pats defense has been bad, and losing Gronk greatly affects their offense.  With all our issues, I think we should be favored heading into this one.  We won't be, but we should be.

Their offense is pretty mediocre without Gronk. We should have no problem taking out Edelman and Amendola.

I go 2 ways with this game. Given our propensity for heart stopping moments, I want to say this is another nail biter.

However, we are just a completely different team at Home.

Ravens 28 Pats 16

I'm calling this as the first victory we don't worry about til the end. No Gronk and I have no idea who his receivers are. This should be easy if the team just plays their kind of ball. Joe and the offense should have a good day if the weather is decent. If they can't score some tds next week, then I think there is a real problem.

My biggest concern is Julian Edelman, but other than him, I really think we match up really really well with the Pats... that, and Joe's outplayed Brady the past 3 or 4 times they've played each other.

Belichik is famous for "neutralizing" the opponent's best player.  lol.  How do you "neutralize" a clutch kicker who can't be iced, intimidated, or rushed into missing field goals?

Where you at, Patsies? Consider this next game a preview of whats still to come in the playoffs. We have your number, you know it, we know it..

We have to take advantage of slow Donta Hightower in coverage. Get him matched up on Torrey or Jacoby as much as possible.
