Cassel Schaub?

For my backup QB right now i've got Matt Cassel.

I'm wondering if I should drop him for Schaub

Matt Schaub had a huge week against the packers. However, he faces the titan's 4th ranked pass D and the raider's 9th ranked pass D after that for the next two weeks. But he proved he can throw against good defenses, thrashing the packer's 5th ranked passing defense.

Matt Cassel on the other hand faced the raiders this week and then plays the Cardinals with their 23rd ranked pass defense that has allowed 27 TDs. what do you think?

Also, are their any good waiver wire RB's out there? I'm thinking about picking up Tashard Choice or DeShaun Foster

Honestly, I don't know why you'd even THINK of dropping Matt Cassel; he's a great insurance policy, and I have no idea how he's not starting for you unless you have someone like Drew Brees as your starter.

Schaub is just now coming back from injury and I think his performance against the Packers isn't enough of a case to pick him up; since he plays the Titans this weekend, I don't trust the matchup.

Cassel, meanwhile, expects to have a decent game against the Cardinals.

I wouldn't bet the farm and grab Tashard Choice or DeShaun Foster just based on what they did last week; Choice might not play much if Jerry Jones has his way, and Foster has been largely inconsistent over the past couple of seasons and is older now, so he can't be relied on even as Frank Gore's backup.

hmm. yeah i'm leaning towards cassel based on that great arizona matchup in week 16 when the cardinals migh bench warner since they've got the nfc east locked up

The game plan in NE is to throw the ball. Plus they have some teams coming up , where they can do just that. I wouldn't be surprised if Cassell puts up better numbers than Warner in New England this week. Leave Schaub on the waiver wire, if you have those two.

Tashard Choice won't be playing anymore than perhaps one game. And that's against the Giants. We couldn't even run on the Giants. Tashard Choice is a bad pick-up at the moment.
