I'm really confused as to how Trent Dilfer still has a job, too. I don't think I've ever heard an intelligent thing come out of his mouth.

That stat seriously makes everyone look average. Since when is a rating of 50.0, 60.0, or 70.0 a good thing? This QBR crap makes no sense, its not accurate at all. Or it's just very biased towards Manning and Brady...

Leadership is not the end all, be all of football.  It's the talent on the field that wins.  Sure, leadership contributes, but they all act like we have no shot because there's no one to motivate.  I call BS on that.  Even if it's not to the extent of Ray, there's someone in that locker room that has taken a leadership role.

If we are nothing without the leadership of Ray Lewis, then what does that say about the leadership of Ray Lewis that guys like Suggs, Ngata Rice, Flacco, Yanda and Webb have learned nothing about leadership? Those guys have been around Ray for years, aren't these the same guys he's taken under his wing while here?

 

I don't know what was said because I'm not watching ESPN but I can imagine that all those guys are having a love fest for Ray's leadership and making the Ravens all about Ray Lewis or the lack thereof.

Steve young basically said flacco and rice aren't leaders because they're having down years and because they aren't leaders like Ray that's why we "aren't winning"

Ray Lewis's comments are exactly why I've always said he's a self-centered knob. It boggles me when people can't see that. He basically said that despite stats, the defense this year isn't as good because he's not on it. He also seems determined to discredit Flacco's contribution to the team last year, giving himself all the credit for the SB run.

Guys I am sticking to my guns on this its not about him he is Giving Fuel ,  ever seen some one give a inspirational speech where they focus on them not being a part of it and they can not help them that they are lost it causes a man to do one of 2 things Find a Leader near by or Rally as 1 Unit  and Say to heck with what they think Lets Do this

Yes they act like its impossible to win without a leader like Ray. He's one of the greatest motivators of all time, but how do they think all the other teams do it? There's leaders on every team and I think we still have some of the best. Also they're not in the locker room so it kind of bugs me how they can say that with no real inside knowledge of it.

Okay, guys. Ray Lewis has it all figured out. Run against a top 10 run defense and remember that we are nothing without Ray Lewis.
