Should have kept the TV muted. Already sick of the Lions' lovefest

You have no idea, I wish I had more ravens around me here in the end zone

Ugh, Heath Evans talking about the Ravens offense lacking "identity". Evidently we are not running the ball enough. Gee, I wonder why we won't do that? I love how he called not giving Rice the ball a bunch "the Cam Cameron way of playcalling". Really? Run, run, pass, punt doesn't tell him anything? Has this man ever watched a single Ravens game in his life?

Heath Evans, your ignorance is showing.

I have zero fear right now.

The confidence I have right now is off the charts and I have no idea why besides my gut.

Steelers' fan BF wants us to lose so the Steelers' can remain "mathematically" in it. Even though he knows way too many things would have to go their way.

I may have to lock him outside when he goes to smoke.

Why would you say that? He is right. Run the ball. Detroit has a leaky pass defense and their run D is literally the only strength of the Detroit defense, but lets try it anyway! Maybe we can surprise them with stupidity.

Seriously though, Rice has been getting plenty of touches lately. Dumb analysts like Evans just belly ache, that it's not the magic number 20, because that means something apparently.

In this game however, we should let it fly. The Detroit secondary is very questionable.

Rice has to light it up tonight

Don't forget that we'll play against the #8 run D tonight. I don't think we'll have an especially effective running game.

For me we need to be successful on first down.  I say throw it on first down.  We don't want to get stuck on 2nd or 3rd and long.  Rice to the right on 1st down isn't going to be our key to winning.

Even short throws on first downs.  WR screens, flats.  Something to mimic a successful running game on 1st downs.  That's what we need.

Tell your boyfriend if he really loved you he would convert to make you happy.

Relationships succeed on 1 tenet. This is a statistical fact.  They succeed when the male does everything the woman wants, not because she asks, but because he wants to make her happy.

I've got to say this about Rice however. I feel like his role as a safety valve for Joe in passing game might become more effective. Without Pitta defenses pretty much knew, that if they cover the WRs well enough, Joe would look towards Rice to dump the ball off. Not anymore.

I agree. If the OL gives Joe enough time, he should be able to find some open receivers however. Torrey might be in for a huge game against that Lions secondary.

I tried my hardest with ESPN"s playoff machine to get the Steelers in earlier today, and I couldn't solve the rubik's cube.  That's the chances they face.

ESPN isn't much better with their Love Fest for Stafford and Johnson...  It's almost sickening...  Nothing about the Ravens resolve.  Nothing regarding the "Champions" at all.

No Gruden sit down with a Raven either...

Heath Evan hasnt been watching the Ravens this year. Ravens always run the ball early in the game especially on 1st down. Thank goodness Caldwell doesnt listen to media and actually watches the tape. The running game can not pick up the tough yards. 3rd and short (goal) has been a nightmare.

It's not hyperbole to say Stafford would be nothing without Megatron making those ridiculous catches.  He's not a good QB.

I hope having Ray Lewis at the game tonight is a good luck charm like it was the last time he was there in that capacity! lol

He is supposed to be an expert on the game, yet according to him we should play towards the Lions strengths. Running won't get us much more than 2 or 3 yards tops against Suh and his goons.

It would be nice to hear an educated and unbiased opinion on football from analysts, especially former players, instead they're giving us the same old speeches we heard countless times. It's like they can't form opinions of their own. -_-

Still an hour to go.  Megatron deserves all the credit he gets though.  He's a humble, classy guy.

Why do we need so many of these human interest pieces?  It'd be so much more interesting if they, you know, actually talked about the game.  I know ESPN analysts can't be bothered to watch the film, when you look at what's going on it's harder to make foolish statements that invoke a reaction, but seriously.  I don't care.

We've got to hit the receivers at the line of scrimmage, get them off of their timing! We need to be physical and aggressive on both offense and defense!
Go Ravens

ESPN is slowly transforming into TMZ SPORTS.
