Yes, NBC has decided to flex the Bears-Eagles game into the 8:30 slot. Our game against the Patriots has been moved to a 4:25p.m start.

This makes 0 sense. In what world is Eagles vs Bears the better match up? It's not a terrible game, but Ravens Patriots is one of the best rivalries in the league right now.

They're skeered!  And the media is on such a Manning Brady Love Fest right now...  They would have to change their tunes if the Ravens beat the Pats in prime time...  So, we just beat them at 4:25 instead of 8:30 is all.

As PFT put it....

Chicago is currently tied with Detroit for NFC North supremacy (though the Lions own the tiebreaker), while Philadelphia is currently one game ahead of Dallas in the NFC East. That makes Bears-Eagles a big game.

That is why we were flexed out. If we were any better and a high playoff seeding was on the line this game wouldn't have been flexed out. Though I highly expect Ravens-Bengals to come down to Week 17 and be flexed into SNF so that will make up for this.

It probably has a lot to do with the Ravens offense not being fun to watch, and a potentially struggling Pats offense without Gronk.  The Bears and Eagles are more likely to score tons of points.

2 teams with electric offenses and bad defenses who are winning/tied for the division lead makes some sense... But really look at the last two weeks for the Ravens and Pats, those were 4 of the most exciting finishes of the year.

Wth, NFL?! They should have swapped out the MNF game instead! Nobody wants to see the 49ers smash the downtrodden Falcons at home!

Disrespectful as hell. They just don't want Tom Terrific and the Patsies getting beat on national TV in The Bank.

This is the truth.

Strange. If Cowboys lose to GB, eagles win then they get division. If Bears lose this week they are likely out also. Then meaningless game. Ravens if even they lose still playing for WC or division possibly. NE still chasing HFA, and at at least first round bye, Cincinnati has tiebreaker over NE. Past 2 AFCCG games? Thats dumb.

Wow! Makes sense, why would anyone want to see Tom Brady vs. Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco?

Maybe if this was arguably the best non-conference rivalry in football or was a rematch of the last TWO AFC Championship games I could understand this decision... oh wait....

And they wonder why we have a chip on our shoulder.

Its ok... Baltimore vs. Everyone!

Actually neither Philly or Dallas can clinch the NFC East this week and neither Chicago, Detroit or Green Bay can clinch the North. Thus why they chose that game.

Though it does make you wonder how they kept Redskins-Giants on SNF yet they flexed Ravens-Patriots out of SNF.

I don't think I ever seen a team scheduled 3 prime time games in an four week span anyway.

NFL thought that was too much or they just don't like us.

It's one thing to flex a game because it's meaningless...But the Ravens Patriots rivalry...when the game is still going to be a huge one for both sides. This just makes zero sense to me. How do you not take it as a slap in the face to Raven nation?

And, this game will draw so many more viewers than Bears-Eagles. Really doesn't make sense no matter which way you spin it.

Kraft from the beginning never wanted to play a Night game in Baltimore even before the season started. Going back to Ravens vs Pats home opener.

only 3 primetime games for the defending superbowl champs now and only 1 of them was at home... this is sad... and we couldn't even start the season at home...
