Peyton Manning: has broken all sorts of records while leading his white-hot offense to 11 wins.  The 37-year old has still got the it-factor that propels his teams in tough situations.

Nick Foles: the breakout QB2 for the Eagles has been absolutely incredible, throwing for 296 yd & 3 TD against the elite Bucs' secondary in his 1st start of the season and an NFL-record trying 7 TD against the decent OAK secondary.  He made 19 TD passes before throwing a pick in this week's Blizzard Bowl at Lincoln Financial Field, just 1 shy of Peyton's NFL record.  His passer rating is 120, best in the NFL.  He's elevated his mediocre receiving corps into the 13th best overall.

Josh Gordon: the WR has been a complete monster for the Browns, setting the franchise record for most receiving yd in a game, 261, and an NFL record 746 yd in a 4-game stretch.  He now has an NFL-leading 1400 receiving yd (19.7 ypr, 7th most among receivers w/ at least 10 catches), 20+ yd TD (24) and 40-yd TD (8) despite missing the 1st 2 games of the season.  He also has the 4th most rushing yd by a WR (66) this season, averaging 16.5 yd per carry.  His production has been particularly incredible when you note the level of incompetence he's had at QB.

Calvin Johnson:  Megatron continues to astound in double and even triple coverage.  He racked up 329 rec yd against the Cowboys, a record for a non-OT game.  He averages 18 ypr, 4th best among WRs and is right behind Gordon with the 2nd most receiving yd this season, 1348.  He also has the most TD rec. for a WR, 12, and the 2nd most overall, behind Jimmy Graham, as well as the 2nd most 1st-down catches (62).

Other Notable Candidates:

Wilson

Brady

McCoy

Graham

Agree with everything besides Lacy. If Allen's injury isn't serious I think he could get it. Maybe Gio Bernard.

Coach of the year is obvious.

Andy Reid.

NFC, maybe Bruce Arians? Probably Sean Payton. Or perhaps Carrol?

Yea i was just saying how Keenan Allen is a ROY contender in the Cordarelle Patterson thread. I just think Eddie Lacey was the one bright spot for his team and could be the first rookie runner in a longtime to break 1000 yards

He already has 1000yds all purpose and close to 10 TDs

Maybe Jack Del Rio/John Fox kind of like what Bruce Arians did last year.

Kiko will win DROY but Sheldon Richardson deserves it

Kiko has cooled off since his legendary September, but don't get me wrong he's still a good player

To me. the MVP is Aaron Rodgers and it's not even debatable.  The Packers basically have no idea what they're doing without him, lol.  It's weird how no one anywhere has brought his name up. Just because he's missed a lot of games this season, doesn't, or at least shouldn't disqualify him from eligibility for the award.  It's not like when Peyton missed the entire season in 2011.

Everyone always seems to confuse Offensive Player of the Year with MVP.  Peyton can win OPY, but A-Rod is the clear cut MVP in my opinion.

Manning for MVP

Allen for ROY

Alonso for DROY

Hmm, who would be the best defensive player this year? I really like Patrick Peterson, but he was much better last year. Hmm.

I'm thinking Mathis could win it. Maybe even Sherman
