Of course!

I live in California - there is no Raven merch to be had out here.

That's why I buy like crazy when back in B-town.

Love my Ravens!!

All the way - repeat.

I know!

My wife and I visit friends out that way regularly throughout the year and their son is a HUGE Ravens fan.  So, I have to buy up stuff here on the East Coast for him and either mail it to them or take it with us to him when we fly out that way!  lol!  I just took him a few Ravens hats a couple of weeks back!

What's it going to take...to believe in this team?

Repost: To me this comment in Sarah Ellison Article sums it up for why we love this team:
It's officially time to stop counting out Flacco and the Ravens, the ESPN blogger wrote. “How many miracles need to happen before you're convinced? There's no disputing this is a team with flaws. But this is also a team that plays its best when the odds are stacked against it. All you have to do is google Hey diddle diddle, Ray Rice up the middle and Mile High Miracle.”

I've got to admit: The toughest thing to endure for me when following a Ravens game over the past 5 years is the blogs, some fans sitting near me and some broadcaster comments. It seems that haters, doubters and septics can become toxic at times. What bothers me most is that I'm positive that some of these comments are coming from people who LOVE the Ravens (ex: My brother - season ticket holder since day one). Is this just pent-up fear of losing, envy or just old fashion fair weather fan 2 faced pride? I don't know. For me taking it positive (win or loss), focusing on the big picture (This franchise is making history) and knowing that Ravens make miracles happen is enough. It's hard to come across a positive forum post that's not ripping players, coaches and the organization. I'm proud of the postings here. Let's keep it up.

Sarah Ellison is a troll and was laughing us last year saying we had no shot at a SB. Just another uninformed idiot!

Isn't Sarah Ellison the BR.com reporter?

You must have her confused with someone else. Sarah is very positive.

Agreed. Sarah is the bomb! That's why I loved her article (everybody go back in read it). She gets it. If you read my post in it's entirety you'll most likely see why I wanted to highlight her post. I believe in this team and appreciate them.

I think people are confusing Sarah with Ashley Fox (I don't know why)...

Probably caught-up on the song "What does the fox say..."  :Cool_408:  It's all good. No harm - no foul.

GO Ravens!

Hopefully, we're just a Dennis Pitta away from that, and we won't be for long.

ill go ahead and throw marlon brown in there too. He's young, but already flashing, and he seems like he can be clutch in the same way. He could have a huge poat season if we make it this year, if not, he could become quite dangerous over the next few years opposite torrey.

I agree. However, he's been with us, for the most, all season. This was a comment on what we've been missing.

Another Observation: Front Office

Strong Argument for What Becomes a Best Franchise - Finding Untapped Talent

Marlon Brown - Undrafted Free Agent

There aren't many franchises that can argue this: This find is rare. In Oz we trust.

Another 'Best Frachise in the Last 5 Years' Question: What's a dynasty without a rivalry?

There is no team that I hate more than the Pittsburgh Steelers; and then again, (.........wait for it........wait for it........ummmm) I love this RIVALRY!!! It's the best in professional football without a doubt. With all due respect there can't be historical greatness without a great rival. Gotta' appreciate and respect our enemies.

To a surrounded enemy, you must leave a way of escape.” - Excerpt from Art of War

Does this not make us 'the' franchise? Are you not entertained!!!?

What do you think?

3rd Shift Addition: Joe officially has won more games in his first 6 years than all quarterbacks. Seems like this is also a strong indicator of why the Ravens are "The Best NFL Franchise in the Last 5 Years".

It is funny because what I call passion my lady calls an obsession. Last year was a great haul because I have family abd friends who know what to get. I got over 1500 dollars in nfl shop gift cards. I have six Ray Lewis jerseys alone. Home, away, black, vintage home and away, and the Reebok purple. Altogether I have about 40 jerseys, 2 helmets, the new gloves, over a dozen sinned prints, a ravens pool table, coffee table, bar stools, lamps, and countless t shirts. My man cave is like being at the clubhouse. I am afraid I might have an addiction other than man o war and gurkha cigars and scotch.

I think you're right, at least it oddly seems that way. For the record, Sarah compiles the weekday "Late For Work" article here; Fox us the one that said Rays last ride would come to an end in Denver.

Thankfully they go into hibernation when they know they are beaten.

There is no team that is hated more, but we all need to be Steelers fans this weekend.

Damn! Did I just say that?

The whole thing seems like flip-flop world, but for 1 day we gotta' bet on them. Agreed. Crazy times.

Since the Stealers hate us so much, they will let the Bengals running over them, beating them abusively, and choking them to death, so we have no chance winning the division.....

I'm shocked we rank second in merchandise sales considering the size of our market and fan base. Way to go everyone!

Awesome! Were did you find all this information (jersey sales).

Based on forum rules – I can't give you specific sites to go for purchase, but I'll try to answer.

There are several resource sites when you google “NFL player jersey sales”. The one's used as references in this posting dealt with individual player sales. This seems like the most effective way (within this 5 year study) to gage 'popularity' throughout. Ray Lewis' jersey ranked 3rd overall making the Ravens most popular amongst the 5 past Super Bowl entries in that particular category.

That being said (personally) I'm just a little surprised that the 'sales' portion of this posting seems to be the most discussed. When you calculate in 'post season winning percentages', 'regular season games won', 'Forbes' and 'overall merchandise sales', 'winning QB in the first 6 years', 'draft classes', 'rivalry legitimacy', 'miracle finishes', etc. - I didn't think that was so 'popular'. On second thought, with such a small market as the Baltimore Region it makes you wonder how can we sale so much. I lived in 3 cities in the past years in I've seen Raven Jerseys everywhere. Maybe someone will find a different study that argues any one of the categories in this posting. I hope so, because I believe the media and everyone should discuss what qualifies as “...the beginnings of a Dynasty” just a little bit more.

I hope this helped.
