Everyone wanted him gone from the Texans so he could come here to be the OC. Half the wish just happened. I made this thread because it was going to be done one way or the other.

I'm honestly good with Caldwell. He has done a lot with our subpar talent here

You can't hate the ZBS and want Kubiak.  His offensive philosophy is LARGELY based on ZBS.  It's a big part of what they do.

One of the biggest knocks on Kubiak is that he doesn't know how to make in-game adjustments.  That's exactly NOT what we need.

I'm on this badwagon. Kubiak knows how to run an offense. I was of the incliniation that we should have hired Norv when we had the opportunity but this would be even better.

I'm so tired of the vanilla predictable offense of Cam *cough*... I mean Caldwell.

No thanks. Can someone explain to me why they are so high on Kubes?

The guy can't make in game adjustments and his play-calling is extremely conservative.

I would have a full set of grey hair in about 5 weeks with him as our OC. Watching him call nothing but 8 yard passing plays destroying one of Flacco's greatest attributes. I know Schaub's noodle arm had a lot to do with it, but Kubes terrible imo. Cam running the show was painful enough.

I'm perfectly happy with Caldwell, but Kubiak could be useful as an offensive assistant. Don't want too many voices, though.

I don't get it. Maybe because he's just a popular name I guess.

I'd like to see us move on from the Cam/Caldwell era of coaching, but Kubiak isn't the guy. He's conservative, he loves the ZBS, and he couldn't make an in-game adjustment to save his life. We don't need more of the same, we need someone willing to mix things up.

We have someone that does just that. Caldwell is great for in game adjustments. He's definitely willing to mix things up.

Caldwell got it done when it mattered most and righted this ship to win a Lombardi!

My only concern with Caldwell is his desire to head coach again.  Won't be long before we watch another coach leave our organization to fill the big shoes somewhere.  Hope it isn't after this season.  Another year of continuity can only help our team.

Whoop the Vikes boys, and lets solidify that Wild Card slot!

"“All of a sudden, and I had not officially met Ray yet, I feel this presence over my shoulder and this voice: ‘Ray Rice, this is Ray Lewis. I love the way you play. But, you should pull your pants up.’”

Asked what it’s like to see a deep ball from Flacco, Jones likened it to Starburst candy.
“It’s juicy, it’s good,” Jones said. “It’s like candy. Everybody loves candy. Who don’t like candy?”

"We got the better Harbaugh!" Sherry Huggler

"Finally"

"My descriptions of my actions on that play are a lot of things - embarrassing, inexcusable, a blunder would be a myriad of things I use to describe it." Mike Tomlin (a cheating Stealer)

We need an aggressive OC. I don't like Caldwell using Cams offense and his play calling has been very suspect this year. I think Kubiak is a step up but not what we need in the long run.

This. I like Caldwell and think that the o line just needs to improve for the offense to take off. Pitta being back will help as well.

he can be our qb coach  but  theres no reason to make him our offensive coordinator  if Jim Caldwell is still around.
