Yeah it was but it might have been viewed as our hijacking the thread.  Gotta take the party to the Off-Topic forum.  lol!

The Flacco makes the weather bad, just so other lesser, mere mortal QBs look silly.

The Flacco doesn't have twitter, because he's already following you.

Flacco's like Bradshaw: just above average during the season, but phenomenal in the playoffs. Both QBs also had legendary defenses and stellar RBs.

Flacco has been really bad this year. Not entirely his fault, but his interceptions do concern me. One of the great things about Flacco in previous years was he had a decent TD to INT ratio. With a good team surrounding him, we could win a lot of games. This year however, he has been forced to throw the ball more than he needs to, partly because the run game is terrible.

However, even though his ints have increased, his awareness has increased big time. He is able to sense pressure and escape or get a big run out of it. His increased sacks have been a new found propensity to hold on to the ball a longer than he used to.

The great thing though is that come winter, he turns into a stud QB! Don't know why but I am glad winter is here!

Agreed. History shows it's Flacco Time. No doubt he will have big games during this run and our running game will feed off this.

GO Ravens!!!

Don't understand the negs here. You're absolutely on point and I think that's a good thing especially if that means 3 more Super Bowls - I'm all in!

Go with Aikman from now on to avoid this issue. Both insanely talented QBs who were on great teams that never fully unleashed them because it wasn't necessary.

Oh, I think Joe's already been unleashed. Remember ...
Lamarr Woodley "Ravens won't win a Super Bowl in my lifetime..."

Joe Flacco: Lamarr Woodley “doesn’t know what he’s talking about” shortly afterwards: Ravens Win Super Bowl!
One down and Three to Go. Be fast cause Steelers be slow. GO Ravens!!!

For those wondering,

He's mathematically on pace for 3985

I expect him to get 4000 though

Thank you for the approximation!

Many of our Ravens fans and critics alike have been dissapointed with Joe Flacco not reaching 4,000 passing yards in a single regular season. With four games left and just under 3,000 yards he could get it done with about 250 yards a game. Normally this is the time of year that we run the ball, but that has been ineffective this year. Is it possible? Can this be done? We shall see, starting on Sunday.

This was via phone, I appoligize for possible typos :-P

Sadly even if Flacco had 5,000 yards it pretty much is garbage when you have a 18-17 TD/INT ratio. Until we become a pass heavy team and add some talent around Flacco he wont make the Pro Bowl...he definitely could but not with our current offensive  personnel.

The Starks worry about Winter coming, but winter says, "Flacco is coming".

Let the 4,000 yard years go to the guys who normally watch Flacco in the post-season. Just keep winning and playing your game, Fiery Flacco!

I'm a lot more excited for the race to an unprecedented six consecutive playoff appearances to start off a career. Keep the stats...I want the W's

These. Are all that matter.

I'd like to see Flacco go to the pro bowl to see how he looks throwing to those receivers. If he did something goofy like throw 4 picks i'd cry lol

Lmao, I never want to see him play in the pro bowl for obvious reasons.

I'm sure if he got in he would decline.

"Yeah Hawaii's cool and all but just not my thing".

Or his super alter ego....... "No. Just No. I'm super pro. It would be an insult to play in that game. Wouldn't be fair. If you ask me again, I'll cancel that." ;)

Haha, but really, now I want to see what that would be like! Can you imagine Flacco hitting AJ for a 60 yard strike downfield, then follow it up with a back shoulder pass in the end zone to Demayrius Thomas??

You're right, Mr. Smoke! It wouldn't be fair to let Joe play in the Pro Bowl. He'd torch the defense with his blazing fastball and his smart bombs. Give Joe some weapons of mass destruction like AJ, Alston Jefferies, Brandon Marshall, Mike Wallace, Tony Gonzalez, Roddy White, Megatron and see how he performs. Keep living in your world of fantasy football. How's your team doin?
