Ran across this over at NFL.com; it's a detailed scouting report on Joe Flacco just after the Draft- Flacco's scouting report

I mean, wow, were they off the mark or what? Derek Anderson, seriously?? (you'll have to read to understand why I'm babbling about Derek Anderson)
Has a tall, rangy frame and could improve his mobility by trimming down to the 225-pound range
Now this is funny
Has marginal muscle definition and thin calves and thighs
The trainers will take care of this in the offseason. I've been saying the boy is scrawny!
But be warned: Don't look at him as a product ready to step into the action at the next level.
Ooops.

Hahah. This made me laugh:
Q: What celebrity would play you in the movie version of your life and why?
Flacco: Who cares? The important part is who plays my love interest
Of course we all know who will play him... Keanu Reeves.

I look for Joe to come back after the offseason like 30 pounds bigger. The trainers will definitely put a hurting on him.

The report is actually eerily similar to Ben Roethlisberger's, both talk about marginal mobility and lack of experience behind center (Pro set)

For those curious: Big Bens report

I have to admit ..i hated him at the Rams game...im in the military and i got like 200 dollar seats to watch that game...i wanted to watch troy play and could wait right behind the bench i sat...then flacco comes out im like what the hell? i was pissed...then he sucked ****** taht game...that made me even more pissed..but when they made the decision to make him the QB i was lke i gotta deal with it and he must be the best man for the job..i believe that now...i do think they should use Troy more to in more trick plays he can still throw the hell out of the ball and run

"Slow-footed moving around in the pocket and despite running for nine touchdowns, he is not threat carrying the ball (had success vs. mediocre competition)..."

Ha.

Thank god our scouts aren't that blind!
