Bynes is horrible. Big play every time he was om the field

I was waiting for Arthur Brown to take his spot. It was way past time

Very satisfied with the win. We really needed this and we got it. But, one thing that really irritated me was that we couldn't move the ball in the second half... We must get better at scoring touchdowns. Field goals are not going to win every game. When we get a first down, we start by running nowhere, then on second down Flacco throws a short/screen pass, and then go 3 and out. We need creativity on the offense to keep this team moving forward.

Okay since this says vent, and I'm not sleeping anytime soon after that stress, here we go:

The offense needs to get the ball in the end zone.  Not a bad game, but we have to stop settling for FG's.

Oher was terrible.

There's still miscommunication in the secondary that needs to be straightened out.

Chykie Brown scares the crap out of me.

Overall, not too much to complain about.  Hard fought game and we got the W.  There's still room for plenty of improvement, though.

I was pretty pleased with our secondary for the most part. Jimmy was definitely on, and Miller and Bell ended up the Steelers leading receivers.

I'm only venting about Tomlin. Joe was just joking on the sideline in the Super Bowl about tackling Ginn, and Tomlin TRIED to trip up Jacoby. Love how he moved at the last second to make it seem he didn't realize where Jacoby was. Hopefully he gets a fine for that.

Tomlin's pocket is going to be quite a bit lighter in a few days!

He should be suspended. It is quite obvious it was intentional. I mean, that is serious stuff intentionally cheating like that.

The offense

Torrey had two pretty big drops in the game as well.  I'm a huge Torrey fan - but those two drops were big.

Yeah that too, but I don't think it's a big cause for concern.  Off games happen.

Am I the only one that feels it wasn't on purpose?? I might be wrong, but hey we won yay.

Go watch the entire play He is standing there with his back to the play, clearly looking over his shoulder at Jacoby. He waits until he gets right there and steps onto the field, then jumps back quickly, like he didn't know. Then he smiles. Definitely intentional.

Completely agreed - all things aside, Torrey had a very good game.  And who knows what we would have been able to do if he made those catches - may nothing, but alas.

On a kickoff return, why would a coach even face the opposite direction away from the field? I mean wouldn't you want to watch your special teams? In my opinion, Tomlin saw Jones coming along the edge, waited for him to get closer and then 'jumped' out of the way.

Now that I think about it, he shouldn't of been that close to line anyway, yeah it might of been intentional. I just didn't like him smiling about it.

So the defense is given a 3 score lead that they just blow int he 4th quarter, they get lucky that Sanders doesn't catch that 2 pt conversion, and your complaint is about the offense?

smh

Absurd.

Torrey needs to start making those catches. Two huge drops tonight.

Oher just needs to go. All those false starts.

There are issues all around.  I'm not singling out the offense, but they do need to start scoring TD's.

On one of Jacoby's kickoff returns, there was a Steeler who got juked and swung his back leg out at Jacoby trying to kick/trip him. That should've been fined too.

How often do you see opposing head coaches have their back to an explosive returner on kickoff?  If it wasn't on purpose, he has no awareness whatsoever as a coach.  He actually stepped ONTO the field then jumped off.  What kinda logic is that?

Tomlin knew that was a TD. Or at the very least a penalty to get to the goalline.

He took the risk and the dumb refs let steelers have it their way all day.

Yeah your right. Was a weird reaction stepping forward to jump back haha.

Yeah, it's so obvious what he's doing. His dirty play could have cost us the season.

He goes and gets in position with his leg on the field and back to the play. He was also watching Jones on the screen waiting to jump back at the last second just to slow Jones a little to get tackled.
