Oh [profanity deleted] I forgot about Oher and those DEs.

I hope Flacco doesn't get killed.

I'm sure it's been addressed in house to Oher at some point since last weeks game. Hoping pride kicks in and he bounces back.

I still blame all the moving around. After they initially moved him to RT he did very well! Then they moved him back and back again. Since then,, not so much.

Given a choice between Monroe & Oher, we have to keep Monroe but Oher has been a team player all the way and I'd hate to see him go for that reason.

Flacco is going to have to keep moving that pocket around.

AP is going to get his yards, he's faced us twice with better defenses and hes averaged 143 yards a game..The key is to not allow some slappy QB to also have a good game as well ala Cleveland, Buffalo, Chicago.

We need to keep the following things going:

1. We need to come out and get a good start and control the T.O.P. (especially to keep our defense fresh against A.P.)

2. We need to put points on the board even if it is field goals (we have won our fair share games that way)

3. On defense we need to limit their big plays

4. On offense we need to not give them any turnovers

5. Pray we come out of these games as healthy as possible

Every game is important, we have not locked down a playoff berth yet.

Go Ravens!

Agreed. AD's been held to under 100 yds against seven defenses this year. We rank as the 6th best run defense. Our D can stop him if they stay fresh.

GO Ravens!

weather is supposed to be pretty crappy sunday, and dumervil is doubtful and a "reasonable" chance pitta plays.

I actually like the thought of Upshaw being in there playing the run over Doom. Gives Doom a chance to rest up for the following weeks when we will really need his pass rushing prowess. That being said, wonder if John Simon gets the active nod and sees time on obvious passing situations.

Take the points. Close game per Ravens usual. Vikings past 5 games have been pretty tough and competitive. Wont be Easy, IMO.

Agreed. If Doom can't go Upshaw is a sure tackler against the run. Raven 'Next Man Up' works.

Personally, I'd be more worried if Upshaw was out than Dumervil for only this matchup at least. Upshaw sets the edge and is reliable against the run, I'd feel better seeing him hit AP than Doom.

I say screw the T.O.P come out gunning and looking to put pressure on the Vikings early. Scoring early and often is the best way to take AD out of the game. Make that team one dimensional with Cassel at QB and we'll have a fairly easy time with these guys. Now of course this requires the offense to perform at a high level but that's gonna be a must for us to do what we need to do over the last 4 games anyway so we mind as well start now.

But I do understand the though of controlling the T.O.P, I just think we need to focus on scoring early and the T.O,P will take care of itself throughout the game.

Sorry guys but we aren't going to get them to abandon the run. Doesn't matter if we go up big, the Vikings will not become one-dimensional passing.

They get enough chunk, explosive plays in the run game. Even more so as the game goes on and the defense wears down. TOP will be important so our defense can rest and commit to swarming the ball every run play. Peterson wears you out - he works harder than any RB I've ever seen.

They will move the ball on us but don't have a well-rounded enough offense to be reliable on 3rd downs and red zone. They will get field goals. If we settle for field goals and trade with them the game will be close going into the 4th which is ba news for us bc Peterson will wear us down and keep the D on the field.

We need to put the ball in the end zone to secure the game or it will remain close.

Keys to this game will be our red zone efficiency on both sides of the ball, and field position. Can't give Peterson a short field. Turnovers or giving up good returns will be the death of us.

Simply put - if we take care of our business we'll win. If we make mistakes or don't take advantage of red zone opps it'll come down to whoever gets the ball last.

Dennis Pitta.

But seriously I believe Pitta will improve efficiency in both of those areas. However you're right, they won't abandon the run, I don't think they'll find much success with the pass however.

First, welcome to our house!

Second, no one said this game would be easy; w/Ponder or w/Cassel

Third, the Viking are coming to M&T Bank Stadium where the Ravens rarely lose!  They are on a 2 game win streak at home and your boys are coming into a hostile environment on Sunday with a Ravens offense showing signs of life and the defense ranking in the top 10.  IF any thing isn't going to be easy...it is the Viking leaving Baltimore with a win!

#Mili

It's actually a three game win streak at home

Footage at M&T looks pretty bad. Poor visibility.
Flaccos big chance to be a rock star.

Boom... Last sentence.

This game will come down to whoever gets the ball last if we make mistakes. We did, and I called it.

Hands down best game I have ever been to.
