Next up: The Minnesota Vikings

Both were away games and the Browns defense is pretty good. Anyway, obviously we can lose this game, I'm just saying that of all the games to be worried about, this is the last on the list. Some people get scared because they don't see anything to be scared about. and I'm saying they should calm their fears.

Agreed. I'm not too scared of this game at all.

Out of all our remaining games it is the one we can afford to lose. Certainly, the preference is to win out. Control our own destiny and still have a shot at the division if the Bengals drop another. But even if we do overlook the Vikings and manage to lose, we still will be in good position for the wildcard.

I'd rather win here, so we get a bit of breathing room against the Lions.

Right.  AP and All Day are both nicknames for Peterson. It's easy to see the reason for the confusion by abbreviating All Day.

The Ravens need to keep Marlon Brown on the field when they get in the Red Zone.

They absolutely do. He's the only big body with decent hands. He and Clark should always be in when we're in the red zone.

They have the worst defense in the league. 32nd in PPG & 30th in YPG. 29th against the pass and 24th against the run.

Our offense is in the bottom part of the league but regardless of how we score points against them I think our defense won't give up more than 10 points.

i didn't know their D was that bad.

I can honestly and comfortably say that when it comes to winning games, I no longer take it for granted...there was a time not too long ago I would have predicted a blowout victory next Sunday and likely would have been right, but those days are on hiatus til they prove again that they can reliably win games that they are supposed to...

This.

I honestly believe that we can win this simply because we are at home and our fans will remind the team.

I can also see AD getting 200+ yds and 2+ TDs if we don't take this team seriously. They have a nice stretch to rest up and game plan.

We must improve our run game and eat the clock. Take AD out by keeping him on the bench! I'm not sure about the QBs and which one will be this flavor of the week but we gotta keep him contained!

With the extra days to game plan Im going to be pretty miffed if we can't play extremely well come next Sunday.

Though I fully realize you can't really game plan for AD completely.

Our Run-D is far ahead of where it was last year, and Adrian Peterson is actually having a "down year" for him - he's right now at 4.4 yards a carry, which would tie a career-worst for him.  Washington and Seattle held him in check, but he lit up GB and Dallas.  Ponder is having a meh season, and their run and pass defenses are both pretty poor.  They are also league-worst in PPG allowed.

Who is AD?

To their credit they beat the Steelers.

This was when the Steelers were going through the worst period of the franchise in years. Next.

His nickname is "All Day". I heard him tell a story about how much energy he had as a kid growing up and that his father told him that he could go "All Day" and it stuck.

Sticking w/ AP, but thanks for the explanation.

Beware of the Trap: Not out of fear, but respect

The last time that we faced the Vikes 4 years ago: Our teams and culture were pretty similar to this year's

AD or P rushed for 147 yds and also contributed in recieving yards.

http://www.footballdb.com/boxscore/2009101805

We lost by a missed field goal, but this year...not so much (J Tuck is straight money)

We didn't score until the 2nd half, but this year...not so much.

We played away in their dome, but this year...not so much.

Ravens will most likely get-off to a fast start, and in turn, force Vikes to play catchup in 2nd half. Ponder will have to drop back a lot and AD or P won't be given rushing ops. Ravens will be sack hunger after Thanksgiving donut. It looks like a Trap Game?...not so much. It looks like a Raven victory! All we have to do is remember what happened 4 years ago and play like Ravens who respect every team on any given Sunday.

GO Ravens!!!

True. That being said, I believe that we will come out fast. Those extra days of prep should go along way. I'm sure that Harb and the coaching staff will constantly remind them '...this is a HOF running back on a hungry team' - this is our playoff run and we must win.

I remember that game.  Flacco drove us down for the win and Hauschka missed the kick, if memory serves.

Can't really argue with that (in saying that, watch people argue with it).

If we start quickly, we can force Christian Plunger Pondscum Pointer Ponder to start throwing. And if we lose by his arm, then we don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Simple.

AP is gonna get his yards, he's just unstoppable. But the vikes rank near the bottom in every defensive category and we should have no problem scoring.   Just win.

This should be a gimme game, but it's the type we've lost in years past.

Just like the past 2, we've got to do our part in creating the atmosphere. Keep it loud and intense so our boys don't forget what's on the line.

They still have no QB. So, that should help.

That face that his career worst is 4.4...
