Why is everyone calling AP " AD"?

His nickname is "All Day".  I heard him tell a story about how much energy he had as a kid growing up and that his father told him that he could go "All Day" and it stuck.

He's also Purple Jesus.

ravens 7 - vikings 54, but seriously ravens by 30 points

I would love to believe that, but we have a nasty habit of letting teams like BUF embarrass us. It's like we don't even try, because we think they are supposed to roll over for us or something

I'm loading the box... point blank.

Absolutely. What else do the Vikings have except AP?

We're not going to stop him completely, but we must contain him.

Classic trap game.. no one should be in here thinking this is a gimme. Especially with our track record after big games...only thing that helps is its at the Ravens nest.

LETS GO RAVENS!

Seriously? This team stinks even with Adrian Peterson and a great O-line. Their passing offense is subpar, their defense stinks, and we're playing this at home after an extended week. Plus it's an inter-conference game, which we can actually afford to lose. If you're worried about this game, you're gonna be on heart attack watch the rest of the season.

and so did the bills and the browns and yet, they both dropped a "L" on us.  Any given Sunday man!  The Ravens don't need to sleep on this squad cause at some point teams that are done love to play the spoiler.

Both were away games and the Browns defense is pretty good. Anyway, obviously we can lose this game, I'm just saying that of all the games to be worried about, this is the last on the list. Some people get scared because they don't see anything to be scared about. and I'm saying they should calm their fears.

If you watch him closely, he looks out of place on the field. He plays way way too high and with terrible leverage. Awful use of hands too. He has a long ways to go.

Hand use is reserved for the truly talented or the 5 or 6 year pro.  I didn't think he played too high simply because he's only 6'1 and he didn't play standing upright, maybe he didn't play with enough leverage with his hands, understandable. Though I never felt his anchor was in question.

The offense seeming to finally be getting close to what we expected all year, minus the run game of course. Getting Pitta back should help, but I don't expect much from the guy his first game back, it'll be more of an emotional lift for the offense imo.

Someone mentioned the Oak game last year and that is exactly what this game should be like. It shouldn't be close and we have to strike early and put those guys away. I know we have a nasty habit of playing down to teams like this, but we are at home and this team usually has razor sharp focus in December getting ready for the playoffs.

From a defensive stand point this should be one of those games where we can just hunt. Yes AP will be tough to stop but I actually think the offense starting fast and scoring TDs early will help slow him down. I'm loading the box and asking Jimmy, Webb and Graham to play man coverage all game.

I think the team is feeling really good about themselves and this should be another confidence boasting game.

AP is his nickname. No need to create confusion by using something nearly identical.

You have no clue what you are talking about.

I can honestly and comfortably say that when it comes to winning games, I no longer take it for granted...there was a time not too long ago I would have predicted a blowout victory next Sunday and likely would have been right, but those days are on hiatus til they prove again that they can reliably win games that they are supposed to...

The extra 3 days of rest is sure going to be nice!  I hope we use the time to plan for the Lions, Patriots, and Bengals, but don't overlook this game!

I was hoping the same.  Use the extra time to start planning for the Lions, but wasn't thinking further ahead.  No games should be a gimme, but this should play to the teams strengths.  I would expect Brandon Williams is activated for this game as well.

I predict at least 2 big plays from Patterson.

It's not about being scared or fearful.  lol!  It's about the Ravens not stacking quality wins (away or at home) consistently.  Sure, we're on a 2 game win streak but remember, we came off of a nearly 2 week bye and lost that game!  You can't sleep on any team in this league no matter how badly they look or are playing.  All these cats are grown men getting paychecks!  At some point, their pride is going to kick in.  I just hope it's not against the Ravens!

My sentiments exactly!

I'm really confident we'll win this one in convincing fashion. Gut feeling we're about to catch fire and be the hottest team in the league in 3 weeks.

If this game was on the road I wouldn't be as confident. We're coming off that emotional high of eliminating Pittsbugh (most likely) and having an extra 3 days to rest/prepare against a mediocre team at home.

I know, any given Sunday but my gut is telling me not to be nervous about this game at all... Despite our history of playing down to opponents.

its gonna b close because of their D, our offense needs to turn FGs to TDs and we will b fine.

They have the worst defense in the league. 32nd in PPG & 30th in YPG. 29th against the pass and 24th against the run.

Our offense is in the bottom part of the league but regardless of how we score points against them I think our defense won't give up more than 10 points.

At least the oline is improving. We still need a weapon and a replacement for Oher, but I'm content with how 4/5 members are playing.
